The host seemed welcoming although we were led to believe that we could check in a couple of hours early and I now believe that was bogus and perhaps a bait and switch tactic to charge more. We arrived to find the home full of gnats/fruit flies due to the fact that garbage from previous guests was still in the trash can inside the garage. If you left a glass on the counter unattended for more than a few minutes, when you returned gnats/flies were swarming all around it. We also found stale popcorn under the coffee table near the TV. The blinds on the doors were askew and at first, appeared to be broken. We also received a notice that we could check out later for free but you were unable to select even a hour later checkout without giving your credit card info. The unit was nice but the gnats/flies seem to be common in Prominence as we found old garbage in the unit we stayed in last year. Why does housekeeping not remove the garbage?
