Stayed for a week on business, and was underwhelmed. The staff were friendly and helpful, and my dinners in Le Patio were fresh and really nice. Unfortunately the room was dated, as was the elevator and hallways. This place definitely needs a makeover. Wifi did not work in my room at all, and front office staff were unable to fix this (they tried several times). The bathroom was beautifully clean, and my bed & pillows were nice. Will try somewhere else next time sorry.
Totally won't recommend. We had to move to another hotel the following night. The hotel is so old and needs a total renovation. Even the bed mattress are as old as the hotel I think. Only good thing I can say is they have a friendly staff.
We stayed overnight and found the room comfortable, clean and spacious. The only negative would be the bathroom where the sink showed signs of age (very unsightly marks). Good location and easy walk to city centre. Great value. Has onsite restaurant but a little expensive i felt however easy walk to pubs and restaurants in the city
We have an annual seminar at Hotel Coachman and they are fabulous. Attentive staff, excellent food, warm and pleasant surroundings (decor little rustic but nothing wrong at all about that) Have always enjoyed coming here and I wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else in Palmy.
I stayed for one night only whilst on a business trip and was a little bit dissapointed with the overall presentation of the room. First impression was that the whole unit was tired and dated although the shower and toilet area had had a revamp at some time . The "cooking ring" in the kitchen was rusty and it wouldn't have been something I would have wanted to use. The kitchen utensils were in a poor and "well used" condition so I opted to eat in the restaurant. There appeared to be a lot of guests that evening and although the service was steady (and one person in my groups meal did not arrive with the rest of ours) the staff were courteous, apologetic and very hardworking and everyone seemed satisfied with their meals. I did think about using the spa but it didn't look appealing. I couldn't get the sky to work and rang fir assistance and they were unable to help but it would appear from other people's reviews that other guests have experienced similar issues with obtaining Skye so perhaps there is an issue here that needs resolving! I had no issues using the free wifi. Bed seemed a little soft for my liking. I wasn't overly impressed with the room, staff were attentive and hard working, dissapointing stay.
I stayed here for 3 nights, was nice, private and quiet, room was immaculate, staff were very friendly and helpful! Only down sides were the jets in the private spa weren't working, no sky movies and the lock on the ranch slider to the balcony didn't lock properly. However I would happily stay here again and will definitely recommend!
We stayed in one of the Motel rooms which were pretty dreary and dated. Bathroom was modernised which was an improvement. Blood stains on bedding of both beds which grossed us out but rooms were quiet and hotel very handy to town.
Nice quiet hotel which is very central. The mattresses weren't the best and gave us all sore backs. There was a crack in the toilet seat so every time when you sat down you would get a pinched bottom. The shower pressure is amazing though. Our parking spot was taken by other people who used the car park while they go and do their business in town or next door (people were observed parking their cars, leaving the area, then returning and driving off). It wasn't a bad stay but I have had better. I may consider staying again if they replaced the toilet seat!
Went to a function here on the weekend and the service was very very good. The meal was a buffet style and the food was all totally delicious. There was plenty of food and many different choices available. I would definitely come back to the Hotel Coachman for a meal.
The Coachman impress the moment you walk in. Beautiful wooden staircase, huge fireplace at bar and what about the big white baby grand at reception. Awesome! Rooms were warm and great bathrooms. The full breakfast was very tasty.
