The staff were amazing! So friendly and welcoming. The room was spotless and had so much charm! The pool was amazing and we so enjoyed our stay. The icing on the cake was when we had a very early taxi to the airport and they packed us a little breakfast picnic. Highly recommend!

I normally don't review hotels but for this one i will gladly do it; the hotel staff was nothing short of amazing, extremely helpful and delightful. The hotel itself beautiful, clean, extremely well located and the rooms were spacious and everything perfect! The restaurant of the hotel was spectacular, we had dinner there on our first night and were completely blown away by the quality of its kitchen, a fact that was several times confirmed at breakfast every morning were everything was presented and done to perfection. This hotel is a 7 star disguised as 5 stars, would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect stay at the perfect location with just the perfect staff!

Beautiful property at a great location. Our room was lovely! We were greeted by Daniella when we first arrived - she took care of all our luggage as soon as got there. We were escorted to the bar for our welcome drink which was delicious! The bartender was phenomenal and made one of the best Sangria's I've had in Spain. Breakfast was phenomenal - make sure you get it. Nuria was also outstanding, with all her recommendations and patience with us. This is a gem of a hotel and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to feel truly taken care of and like family in Mallorca. Thank you to the rest of the staff as well!

The Hotel Gloria de Sant Jaume is exquisite and beautifully maintained. Our room was lovely and impeccably clean with huge windows and a large bathroom with a sizable shower and two sinks. The spa was very nice and we enjoyed taking a quick break in the sauna and steam room before taking a dip in the pool. The water jets and waterfall were a nice touch as well. The rooftop plunge pool was lovely and it was nice to rest in one of the sun loungers after a long day of walking around Palma. The hotel staff was the best part of our experience at the Hotel Gloria de Sant Jaume. Everyone we interacted with from the moment we arrived was friendly and helpful and made our stay truly special and memorable! We offer a special thank you, to Joaquim, for all his time helping us plan things to do during our stay and all of the recommendations he made for restaurants to try. Thank you to Alexia and Daniela at the front desk for the friendly greetings and dinner reservations. We also thank David, Alex, Lisa and Aida for their friendly service in the bar/restaurant. It made our experience that much better to have such amazing service. The hotel is also very well-located, close to all shopping and dining. We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to come back.

Great Property / Minor Staff Issues

3-nights in standard room. Beautiful, elegant hotel with very friendly, welcoming staff. Stunning bar, excellent drinks, best continental breakfast we've ever experienced. Large, bright, well-equipped and clean room. Great shower but minor bathroom issues: two bits of debris from previous guests were stuck to the sink (old toothpaste and something unidentifiable) / rotted wood trim by the shower / floor tiles around the toilet appeared to be stained by previous flooding incidents. The front-of-house staff were young but uniformly professional. It was odd (to us) that all the women were model beautiful while all the men were just regular looking guys. My wife noted that the hiring manager was probably a middle-age guy. The front desk staff did not seem to know the area all that well and were unaware of a few local basics (such as how the ticket system worked with the Palma-Soller train). They were unaware all surrounding streets were going to be closed for a big marathon race the morning of our departure (we found out by accident and they were surprised when we told them). The airport transfer they arranged to pick us up at the hotel had to be changed to another location and was then changed again. There was poor communication on this internally between staff and between the hotel and the transfer company. The transfer never arrived. Fortunately, the only taxi still inside the closed streets was at that pick-up location. Otherwise, we would have missed our flight out.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Hotel Gloria de Sant Jaume. From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed. The check-in process was one of the best I’ve ever experienced and I saw how appreciated it was when a weary travelling family arrived shortly after us. Each of the front office staff members we met were extremely attentive and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. From making dinner reservations, offering tour suggestions, and even organizing a little birthday surprise for me at breakfast one morning (thank you!); nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast each day was lovely with many delicious options and excellent service. Cocktails in the beautiful bar/lounge were always expertly mixed and don’t miss out dining right at the Patio Gloria Restaurant one night. It was one of our best meals accompanied by expert, attentive service and an excellent wine selected by a very proficient, helpful and friendly sommelier. Our room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed, pillows and crisp sheets. The roof top pool area and basement spa areas are also clean and beautiful and perfect to enjoy after busy days of exploring. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hotel Gloria de Sant Jaume and hope we’re lucky enough to return one day.
