Great option for small size resort, no accesible parking unless you do the valet $10 a day to dine in but is included if you stay. Pool is small and needs to be upgraded, feels a little old fashioned. Access to beach is great and very private as there isn’t any public beach access near by and surrounded by high end condos. The best feature of this hotel is location and the Opal restaurant, otherwise basic.
Amenities and attentive service
Nice people, rooms are updated, restaurant food very good, location to beach can’t be beat
Not worth the money, left a day early
Liked: staff, bar, menu, food, pool towels, beach, robes Disappointments: no space for toiletries in the bathroom - had to put them on the floor, shower head adjusted up and down but would not angle away from the wall, hair dryer was broken, there was no table on the deck (we did get one), lighting is not good, no way to hold the bathroom door (we used the ironing board) open so it stayed steamy, biggest complaint - there is nowhere to get hot water for tea on the property before 8AM. The coffee maker in the room does not dispense hot water, no microwave even though we requested one (twice) no coffee cart in the lobby. I had to go to Dunkin Donuts for hot water. The only person that was ultimately effective in helping with this (or concerned enough) was Page who was great. She arranged with ?? (sorry, I have forgotten his name) to get it for me the following morning. This seems like a very basic request. I didn't even need the tea (I had my own), just hot water. Very disappointing as it made me feel very high maintenance for a simple request.
Great location
Great location. Clean. Latitudes restaurant food was excellent.
Had a very nice looking room over the pool and view of the ocean. Food was good and have plenty of outside dining with a great happy hour. Staff was very pleasant.
I haven't been coming to this location since it opened about 50 years ago..
Did not like the surprise resort fee of $30 that was not evident until final booking.
The resort was small enough to make me feel well attended but large enough to meet my every need. I only wish my room had a microwave. Otherwise, everything was excellent. Great food!
Perfect setting on a lovely beach. Great restaurant and terrific service.
