Great location and is at the end of the main strip. This means even when it's late, the street is lively and safe to walk home. You can also head back in the middle of the day when you are too hot. The apartment is well laid out and clean. It has everything you need, including a full kitchen (including freezer for ice cream) and washing machine (great for when it's hot and you need to wash some clothes). The Aircon is very weak and only works when the apartment key is in the wall switch. We went during average temperatures of 30 degrees and the apartment struggled to get below 26 degrees (due to the key constraint). We found a work around, you can put your credit card in the key wall switch and it will allow you to leave the AC working while you are out. After 1 day the flat was about 21 degrees and all days after that it reduced further. Check in instructions where not very clear. You get sent a link to a check in portal, which would not complete my submission, meaning I had to contact the host using their portal (as they do not monitor hotels.com, only sending you a link to the portal for all messages). Closer to the time, we got a message confirming check in for the apartment but something to note is if you put the address from hotels.com into Google maps, it will take you to the wrong location. Search for the clothes shop Mango at V. Ruggiero Settimo, 57, 90139 Palermo PA, Italy.
