My wife and I loved staying here. We were talking about our favorite part of the trip (7 days on the big island) and we both agreed that the best part was sitting on the balcony drinking coffee on this beautiful property. If you are looking for a resort vibe, this probably isn't it. But if you are looking for a place to really feel like you're living in nature on the big island, this is probably one of the best properties you can find and at a great price.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. It was peaceful, private, and a great place to relax while exploring the area. The host was responsive and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. We especially loved the beautiful surroundings and how well-equipped the home was. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone visiting Hawaii!

Like staying in a botanical garden! The property is so beautiful with various tropical plants and fruits and a view of the ocean through the trees. It was so relaxing to sit out on the lanai birdwatching and listening to the rain. Good location in between Hilo and Volcano. The rental is clean and comfortable and comes complete with a book that Carla and Hisham made full of their personal activity, food, and sightseeing recommendations. An authentic Big Island experience!

Couldn't ask for a better place to stay for my 1st week on the island. Carla and Hisham were kind and helpful hosts. The rental was clean, well lit, safe, and the lanai had a wonderful view of their land as well as the ocean in the distance. Lots of geckos and birds, and the sound of rain was amazing. The most spectacular drive by the ocean on your way to the rental, I made at least 1 stop a day there, especially when the waves were going off. Close to the Sunday market and Pāhoa without being too close and without the touristy feel. I would stay here again!
