Convenient location to downtown Pagosa Springs. Except for the carpet in the sleeping area, the room was clean and comfortable. Carpet was stained and had small sharp “pieces” of debris I felt on bare feet. No hair conditioner and no body lotion was provided. Bathroom was clean. Sink basin needs to be replaced. We did not have the breakfast provided (instead we went downtown, Pagosa Bakery...Great!). But the hotel breakfast was the typical free breakfast and seemed to be okay.) For the price, this hotel was okay.

The property is excellent and service was exemplary

I arrived in town from east side, when I got to motel I thought I was away from services. After checking in, I drove about 1/2 mile west and found all the services I would want. Restaurants, grocery store, Walmart and even a public golf course. Staff friendly and helpful.

Very nice place. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Satisfactory breakfast. Friendly staff. Unusually long wait to check in, however, and no one was around when we checked out, just a basket for room keys.

Room was exactly as advertised. Clean, good view of the mountains. Staff was friendly and professional. Really appreciated the fridge in the room. I bought water and stayed hydrated.

Nice they’ve updated the rooms, but the condition of the walls/ceilings/floors really show the age. They just didn’t finish renovating yet or didn’t put the full effort into renovating, not sure which. Bad beds, food, and weird smell. What really put the nail in the coffin was the owner though. During check out, my husband was taking my child’s bike to the truck and he walked up angrily asking if we were checking out. My husband replied yes, and this guy still has the audacity to go out of his way to scold him for having bikes in the room. We were on our way off the property and he still felt the need to have bad hospitality and rudely inform us of this “rule” (there were no signs anywhere in the room or anywhere on the property about that). Immediately after, my husband witnessed his horrible behavior with another guest. The guy was smoking outside the doors, bc it says non smoking building (nothing about standing a certain distance away) and the owner walks up and tells him he needs to be 25ft away. Which is totally fine, what isn’t fine is that the guest said ok and that he was leaving anyway, then proceeds to his vehicle. The owner then yells that he should wut smoking anyway, it’ll kill you. And finished with cussing under his breath. So infuriatingly inappropriate behavior. I can’t believe this $110 room was like a $50 motel with shitty hospitality to boot. Wish I didn’t give them my money, he should quit the business!

Best place to stay in Pagosa Springs for the price. Nice pool, clean and comfortable room, good breakfast

Bed was broken. Shower curtain was grossly stained and staff did not care

Rude owner... oppressive feel... lots of rules and signs.... you are instructed to wipe your feet at the door prior to entering... no dogs!! Service dogs only with lots of verbal detailed rules and instruction that must be flowed or kicked out! Service dogs must be on your person at all times and can’t go in the pool/jacuzzi area but can’t be left in your room? the owner will go on and on about why the rules are in place and must be stricrly inforced and he wouldn’t shut up at check in about all the dishonest people who lie to him about service dogs.. he then changed our room to the “dog” room? I intervened at 20 min as my wife started to turn red in the face... i asked him to stop lecturing her and we should just agree to disagree? He wouldn’t stop and I Finally I told him I we were done listening to his rant about guests who took advantage of him.. we had all paperwork at check in for our 5lb Maltese. He kept rattling on as we walked out and went to our room... he watched us very closely during our stay... even working outside our window of our first floor room... he locked the pool and juccuzzi area and all guests had to call to get him to come down and unlock the pool area each time you wanted to use it... he keeps it covered to save energy.. felt like a child asking permission to enter... signs all over do’s and don’t’s video cams insuring rules are adhered to closely... should have left at check during lecture that’s our bad! Room and hotel was clean well maintained...

Staff was very kind and room and bathroom were clean and big.

Nice and clean. Good location. Pool is great. Partially undergoing renovations which is good to see but it was a little loud.

The back road that leads to the hotel is full of potholes. The window in my room had blinds only, no curtains. At night, the room was not dark enough and that kept me awake. Pillows were very uncomfortable. Walls are paper thin and you can hear peoples conversations in adjacent rooms. Everything else was good.

I was only in town for one night. The hotel was clean and convenient to everything in town. Check in was fast and friendly. Free internet and free breakfast. This hotel is close to Cloman Park Disc Golf Course. Pagosa Springs is a very small town, so the hotel is only a two minute drive from everything. Free breakfast was very nice and had a full selection of items.

Was a comfortable room with friendly staff. Free breakfast was nice, but very crowded as the hotel was full and the dining area is small. I was concerned about the water damage along the ceilings and in the hallway, but it is old. The staff were great with helpful advise on local activities, cheerful demeanor, and quick to make up the rooms.

Good value. Attentive staff. Nice breakfast.

Very run down . Rooms were very plain for the price . Lady at front seat was excellent but rest of staff poor. Quality of what I paid was not worth it. I got sick and there was a lot of noise .

Thank you for your review. We are sorry the check-in was a little longer than usual and that no one was at the front desk at checkout. We like to keep the basket on the counter for room keys for the guests who might be in a little rush to leave and for the guest who have received their receipts and just wanted to drop the keys off. We hope to see you again soon!

We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay. We offer storage for guests' bikes to provide more space for guests in the room and so damage isn't done to the walls since bikes can be banged easily on the walls. Each entry into the hotel has a sticker that says "No Smoking within 25ft from any door or window." Because the weather is getting nicer, guests like to leave their windows open and the smell of smoke can travel into their rooms. We enforce this rule because not everyone likes the smell of smoke going into their non-smoking rooms. Again, we are sorry you did not enjoy your stay.
