Awesome location. Beautiful weather and the staff was amazing.
Pleasant knowledgeable desk clerk. Helped us with a problem we had
The staff is friendly and the place is nice, only 5 minutes from Six Flags. They don’t have elevators but there’s only a flight of stairs and the breakfast doesn’t offer meat (no eggs, bacon, sausage or even ham).
I liked the fact that it was pet friendly, you don’t find a whole lot of hotels like that.
Clean room, okay breakfast. Great pressure in the shower!
The manager on duty was not friendly or helpful. The place was old and a bit run down, not your typical Quality Inn. There is no elevator so you lug everything up the stairs. The shower was terrible, very low water pressure and the shower head was so low I had to duck (I'm 5ft 6 in). The rooms had a weird smell and just didn't feel clean or comfortable. The breakfast was probably the best part, good selection and tasted decent. It's not a place I would recommend.
This is not a 5 star hotel, but I was very pleased with my stay. The room was always clean, and the staff incredibly attentive. More so, I think, than many other upscale hotels I've stayed at. While a bit dated, the facility was well maintained. If I have one critique, I'd like to see a bit more variety in their breakfast offering. It was well stocked but it was the same thing every day. Otherwise, one of the better stays I've experienced.
When we checked in we were given a king size bed, but had booked 2 doubles which wasn't going to work since we had 3 kids. We had no other choice because everything else was booked. The room and especially the bathroom was nasty and the room smelled of death. The staff member argued instead of trying to be accomodating. There wasn't any toilet paper in the bathroom and when we asked for a roll we were scolded and told that we would only be allowed one. We were given a rollaway, but were constantly reminded that they normally charge 10.00 for it and we were only allowed 1 extra pillow for the kids. Get it together and treat your guests just as that, "GUESTS".
