The room was good and met our expectations, and the location truly stands out — it’s excellent and very convenient for a family getaway.
However, we had an unfortunate experience at the beginner hill (the one with the magic carpet instead of a chairlift). After spending over $2,000 for a weekend stay in one of the villas, I was surprised to be told that I couldn’t ride the carpet up alongside my 6-year-old daughter, who was skiing for the very first time. I was informed that I needed a “pedestrian pass,” which was never clearly explained beforehand.
As a parent trying to assist a young child learning to ski, being required to walk up the hill every single time felt unnecessary and frustrating. A bit more flexibility or clearer communication around this policy would have gone a long way in making the experience more enjoyable for families.
Overall, the property and location are great, but this interaction definitely impacted our weekend experience.
