I want to commend the staff!! We were visiting the Lake Huron shore for the fist time, and they were collectively enthusiastic and very well informed about the activities, the places to visit, the many opportunities in the hotel (generous coupons for meals, pool, hot tubs) where to find a microwave (next to the reception area) and so on. Special THANKS to Bruce K, Ranjeev and Teresa.

Stayed here a couple of times a few years ago, this time I was surprised at how many dogs there were. That was a turn off cleanliness wise-they said they try to keep all dogs on the second floor, we stayed on the 4th and there was at least one dog there. Just be mindful of this policy when booking, the other Blue Mountain properties do not allow pets, so if you’re someone who does not necessarily want to be living amongst animals then I’d suggest you book elsewhere. I’m not blaming the hotel as it’s my fault for not knowing the policy, so just informing others that may miss this in their fine print.

We had a really fun weekend at Blue Mountain. Lots of great activities were included with our Expedia package. We stayed at The Blue Mountain Inn and it was a short walk to the village. Breakfast and a Gondola ride was included. I would definitely book again!

I want to give a special shout out to Kevin and Jessica T. They were both so very helpful with my checkin. Kevin was great at assigning us a walk out room right by the hot tubs, so awesome. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and Jessica T brought us a complimentary bottle of wine with a hand written card. We were also given some complimentary passes for gondola ride and lights and hiking. I will definitely be back to the Blue Mountain Resort Inn. The staff was phenomenal, it is very clean, two good restaurants on site, indoor pool, indoor and outdoor hot tubs. 5 min walk to the village.
