A great discovery

The hospitality was great from the moment we arrived until leaving. Not over the top, just natural. It's well located in the town for restaurants and nearby attractions yet secluded and secure. Relaxing was easy. It's an old 'colonial style' house and furnished appropriately and interestingly. It works.

We stayed in a self- catering lodge which was equipped with all that you would need to cook for yourself. We ate out at Anny’s Bistro, which was recommended by our host, Albert. The lodge was large and came with an open fireplace as well as a lovely deck with comfortable seating. A real find and great value.

A heritage property that has been lovingly decorated to a very high standard with excellent attention to detail. There is a beautiful deck attatched to the property which provides shady outdoor seating and lounging space along with a small pool for cooling off. Breakfast was great and we particularly enjoyed all the little extras provided during our stay such as a fully stocked honesty bar, sherry in the room, fresh water and chocholates at bed time and a free car washing service!!
