Wish we could’ve stayed longer! A unique experience staying in a converted shepherds hut, now the honeymoon suite- beautifully converted with plunge pool & the most stunning 360 degree views- also from the shower! So peaceful & tranquil,The owners of Le Petit Karoo really went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. Beautiful dinner. Amazing value for money & would 100% recommend. The location was special and quiet. The hostess Karen was very kind and accommodating. We enjoyed the few days there and the pool is a very nice bonus in hot Oudsthoorn.

Tracy and Karen are living their dream and are happy to share it with us. Thank you both. Le Petit Karoo is a beautiful getaway in the hills north of Oudtshoorn, a definite recommendation for anyone traversing the Garden Route. Combined with a Route 62 drive, this provides the perfect counterweight to the coastal drives. Add in a drive through the Merringspoort pass - stunning! The relaxed vibe at Le Petit Karoo, complemented by the excellent meals prepared by Tracy, Karen and their team makes this your definite Klein Karoo base. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Great stay

We were in the tent and it was super comfortable! The area is amazing. The owners are very welcoming and the meals are outstanding. No complaints!! Pity we only stayed overnight!

Die Anfahrt hoch auf den Berg ist schon anspruchsvoll. Die Anlage wirkt auf den Bildern besser als in real. Das Zimmer - Honeymoon- Suite - war sehr klein. Nicht genügend Ablageflächen vorhanden. Handtücher waren fleckig und dreckig. Die eine Nacht hat uns vollkommen ausgereicht.

Sehr freundliches Personal und sehr leckeres Essen. Der Blick ist gigantisch. Die Zelt 2 war gut ausgestattet mit einem Kühlschrank Kaffee Tee und Keksen. Einen täglichen Zimmerservice gab es auch wo Handtücher gestellt wurden. Das Badezimmer mit eigenem Whirlpool war großzügig und mit Schaumbad Seifen Shampoo und Conditioner ausgestattet. Der Blick über das Taal mit Springböcken war gigantisch sowohl von der Terrasse als auch aus der Wanne!
