The cabin was what was needed, a small get away. I will say I expected the views to be better. Also, just make sure to do your research, because I thought that the hot tub would be included in the cabin I stayed in. But was sadly mistaken. Overall the stay was good and very relaxing though.

Based on the photos and ads, I was so excited for my stay. When I arrived, there were bugs all over the sheets, which I chalked up to being surrounded by trees. But then the picnic table outside was covered with aunts (set a newspaper down and within 10 minutes it was just overrun). Later in the evening, as the sun was setting, the picnic table had 10+ cockroaches that then spread to the area surrounding the stairs to enter the cabin. Although the text number was very responsive, they did not provide any accommodation to the fact that I did not feel comfortable spending the night.

The cabin was nice really clean the only thing I didn’t like is that it wasn’t secluded two other cabins were really close to each other they could see where our outside area was and we could see theirs. I would book again only if I could choose which cabin I wanted

Really loved my stay and all that was included with my stay. It was quiet, peaceful, secluded and I could really relax. Everything was clean and ready to use. I wish that Postcard did a better job of communicating what was provided in the cabins so that I would not have overpacked and brought too much! Overall it Was amazing and it felt like camping without all the work!

Family Fun

What a fun way to end our family road trip and to enjoy the Starved Rock area. Our family enjoyed our tiny cabin experience, the s'more kits were a hit as we sat around a camp fire. I hope to visit a Postcard Cabin again some day.
