With a king-sized bed in the main bedroom and full-sized bed and futon, this pleasant retreat is perfect for small groups or families. Catamaran Cottage is located in Anchorage Cottages & Retreat Center on the sandy shores of the Great Lake Huron. It is 1 of 6 cottages on the property. This rustic cabin is fully furnished and has shared beachfront a few feet away from your door. Picnic tables, firepits, a charcoal grill and beach furniture help round out your quintessential Up North experience here in Oscoda.
The cottage is heated and features a kitchen and space to spread out with 2 bedrooms and a dining area. Guests can expect to find free WiFi and a TV with a DVD player. Other standard amenities include a coffee maker, a travel crib, and a dining table. Change of towels is available on request.

Sweet up north spot

This location is UNBELIEVABLE, literally right on Lake Huron. We walked out all weekend to enjoy the views. Space is small and rustic…feels like staying at my grandma’s cottage but WiFi worked great and there was cable on TV if we wanted to be inside. Bike path along road that went all the way to town. We had an unseasonably cold weekend but blankets and space heaters kept us cozy. Hosts were quick to respond to our one minor issue (coffee maker wasn’t in the unit, they brought one right over). There were two bedrooms but it seems like it might have been small for more than two adults. But DH and I were cozy and really enjoyed our stay! Thanks!!!
