Great stay in Tennoji, Osaka area.

Great stay in Osaka. Rooms were clean and roomy for a solo traveler. Great transportation options as a base. Near Tennoji station, direct trains to Kansai Airport, Osaka metro lines. Tennoji area has multiple shopping and dinning options attached to the train stations. The hotel is on the upper levels with Donki taking the lower levels of the building. Very convenient for purchasing last minute items.

It was close to a central JR station, so it was easy to travel beyond Osaka. If the noise of the train doesn’t bother you, you can enjoy watching at least some other of the trains if you are facing the tracks.

We were disappointed with this hotel, partly due to a mix up with wotif boooking. We are a family of three and booked a for 2 adults and 1 child in room that was described as having “2 twin beds”. These turned out to be 2 single beds. There was no roll away bed available. We had no choice but to ask for an extra pillow and towel and squeeze 3 of us into 2 beds pushed together. It also turned out that children are not counted when it comes to booking breakfast so we had to pay additional at the full adult price for our daughter to join us for breakfast both days.

I prefer staying in the Tennoji after flying to Osaka because it's not difficult to get there from the airport but still in the main part of the city. Breakfast was very nice and the room was clean and comfortable.
