We enjoyed being a typical urban residential and business area. Having a kitchen enabled us to take advantage of shopping at LIFE grocery store and sampling many kinds of fresh seafoods and vegetables and salads offered in small serving sizes there. Anything you need is a short walk including the M12 train station. One train stop away at Shin Osaka we left on the speed trains to Kyoto and Kobe and Okayama. Getting in and out of Umeda/Osaka station was easy. The neighborhood is quiet and clean, and we never encountered "creepy" people, but the crows are loud and make a good alarm clock. Having a washing machine was wonderful as we travled with carry on only, and a laundromat is a block away for a larger dryer. We had purchased a sim card for data, however the option to take the hotspot is a nice amenity. It was interesting to step on the little balcony and observe the surroundings and the towels dried well out there while we were sight seeing. Overall the furnishings are simple but adequate, you will find all you need including cooking implements, iron, hair dryers and lint roller, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. If you prefer to stay out away from tourist areas and experience the "real" city, this is a perfect location.
