The staff was very courteous but like most of Japan they didn’t speak much English but we made it work with Google Translate. We booked this hotel since it offered free breakfast but that area was under construction so eating out was an extra cost. At times there was a very strong chemical smell by the elevator like paint thinner. We asked for a discount because of the no breakfast and chemical small but they said no. The rooms were clean. The location was excellent, close to walk to places and to transportation. The Vietnamese restaurant across the street served delicious food! We stayed 12 days there and I would go back.

Room was satisfactory. Be aware as a single room there isn't a lot of room. However, everything was functional. I would suggest a grab rail in the bathroom to assist getting & out of the bath. I did find it rather noisy. The rooms are not that well sound proofed, so it is possible to know what's going on in the adjoing rooms or corridor. Also found the plumbing & AC unit a bit noisy. Not deal breakers,but something the hotel should be aware of. Extra amenities are available at reception. The included breakfast was sufficient. The hotel also has laundry facilities. The area around the property has plenty of restaurants & 'entertainment'. Close to various stations & shopping along E Street. All in all a pleasant stay.

It was a good place to stay! Comfortable bedding and of course, good hotel service. It was pretty convenient walking from hotel to Umeda station and a 20 min walk to places and restaurants as well as of course Umeda sky.

The staff was beyond excellent. One even helped me find a shop that sold hand made wallets. Something I’ve wanted for a long time. I was always greeted when I walked in. The bartender Watanabesan, was great. I can’t wait to book my stay there again!!!

Great breakfast, close to a variety of train stations but still a 10 min walk. Lots of restaurants to choose from. As mentioned by other reviews and really the only hotel I have stayed out in Japan (over 15) charges to check your bags after checking out, I think it is just a bad policy that makes you rank the hotel lower because of this.

No thrills business hotel for affordable stays

Basic business hotel meant for an affordable stays in Osaka. Breakfast is basic and there is often a waiting line due to how small the dining area is. Rooms are decently priced and sized for the area. Recommended for those who want a place to lay their head without breaking the bank.

For my Wife and myself it was perfectly situated for everything we needed. Wonderful staff ,quite part of Osaka with easy walk for basically hundreds of restaurants, shopping for anything you would ever desire..and easy walk to multiple train stations to travel anywhere

The staff were very unhelpful, they refused to store our carryon even though we were willing to pay the ridiculous $1000 yen per bag fee… they wouldn’t assist with finding transportation to do sightseeing, the room smelled of cigarettes, the room was not soundproof so we barely slept … very disappointed

Was a decent property. What was really disappointing is that check out is 10am. Which is not too bad, except that if you ask them to hold your luggage, even for a little after having to check out so early, they charge 1,000yen per item. So carry on and luggage gets expensive for multiple people. They don’t let you check in earlier than 3pm no matter if they have rooms available or not. But they will hold your bags before checking in for free……
