Location of hotel is good but the hotel is not upgraded and old. Toilet is so small and the room is cramp. Staff are friendly but don’t understand English much. Below is train station so that’s the bonus point. Lots of small shops and eatery. A mall also there
After the last bad hotel, we were all happy with this one. Service was good, but the reception is on the 7th floor which is a little confusing. The toilets are simply fantastic in Japan and their hygiene is first class. Beds are rather hard and the pillows are very small, so ask for more as most of our group did. Breakfast was good and plenty of it.
It's a big hotel, double beds, nice view over river, series of restaurants on floor above. We dined at the Indian restaurant and I became very sick later that night. As in many hotels we stayed in the Tripadeal tour, there was no safe and no phone in the room.
The hotel is located over Temmabashi Station of Keihan and Osaka Subway, directly connected to the hotel from the station. But, little hard to find the entrance, it faced to the river , not the street.Equipments were nice, not special. but enough for stay.Location was great to sightseeing as Osaka Caste by 10 minutes walk, and by subway, easy to Umeda and Namba. The building has Chinese restaurant, and, besides the hotel, there was Keihan Mall, big shopping outlets with many shops.
Nice hotel, cheap and just step away to mrt. Many restaurant nearby, room bigger than most in osaka. Staff verry friendly and helpfull. They alow us early check in. I got room with nice river view. I will be in this hotel agai if we go to osaka. Many thanks to hotel staff
small room, average bed. what makes my stay worse is that, there's no AC during the period I stay. The hotel explains there's no AC service during fall. No AC during night is OK as the temperature is manageable however during day time, it's so hot I couldn't even stay in the room. Even the toilet is cooler than the room and I'm not joking. I will not come back to this hotel, even though it's conveniently located above Keihan mall.
We recently spent 4 nights at Osaka Castle Hotel and it is perfectly located to get to all local attractions. The rooms are small but are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a great variety of items, so although it was a buffet there was certainly plenty to eat, along with omelettes made to order.
Great hotel inside the Keihan City Mall. Easy access to the train system. It's clean, neat and contains all the amenities including a hairdryer, aircon, bar fridge and comfy beds. It's a 20 min walk to Osaka Castle which is beautiful. It's a 20 min train ride from Shinsaibashi mall and 20 min from Umeda department store precinct. Awesome buffet breakfast also. There's also a department store in the complex with restaurants at the top and an amazing grocery store at the bottom. Only downside is there are smoking rooms next to non smoking rooms.
Convenient location but room is extremely small. Price is a bit ok but could have been more reasonably priced. Nothing much to brag abt the hotel room. Good for short stay. Good for those who are not fussy.
In Osaka, like most major cities, space is at a premium. Osaka Castle Hotel offers spacious rooms with a nice water front view. The room we got was about $250 USD per night, and had space for three beds without feeling cramped. It's not fancy or modern, but the location, the spaciousness of the room, and the free wi-fi make it a solid choice if you are staying in Osaka. Oh, and as the name implies, it walking distance to Osaka Castle.
