Hotel is in good area. It is facing to Osaka station and close by to Umeda Station as well. A hub for easy access to everywhere. Room is small just like other hotel in Japan. Bathroom size is pretty good compared to other hotels in Japan. The room service is not good. They do not refill towers, bath amenities unless we asked for more. The laundry was not picked up although we called twice. However, the duty manager personally came to apologize after I made a big complaint about the incident. I eventually flew back to the US with bunch of dirty clothes as the hotel missed picking them up for cleaning. I am not sure about coming back to this property. Also, there are so many tour groups at this hotel and they are always noisy. Eating breakfast with this bunch of tour groups were our nightmares. We ended up skipping our breakfast on the second and third day. The food was not great at all.
I have stayed at this hotel for three times, actually every time when visiting Osaka. Not to mention all the features superior to what average hotels in Japan can offer, the location is simply perfect - There is an airport limousine bus straightly going to the station (Herbis Osaka) one block away from the hotel, and it is less than 5 min walk to Umeda station. The metro is also accessible directly from the ground level. While this hotel seems busy and all booked all year long, the reception managed to accommodate our re quest as a HHonor Gold for room upgrades, even during the holiday seasons. All the staffs I have met have been much attentive and helpful. If you have an access to the executive lounge, you might want to have a breakfast there instead of having it at the lower level. It has a nice view and much quiet ambiance. Japanese style (Gohan) breakfast is provided too.
Osaka is a great location to stay for all of the popular locations in this part of Japan. The Osaka Hilton is a great hotel with a great location within the city. With the train station located directly across the street and several great place to eat in the neighborhood, you really can't go wrong.
Our room wasn't anything "superior" (and my Hilton status is rather low these days) but we had a really very spacious room, with an excellent wetroom/bath/shower, and decent amenities. Breakfast was a little chaotic due to refurbishment work but of good quality, and not stupidly busy. Staff mega friendly and helpful. Very good gym (24 hours) and pool. Didn't have a full meal here but the bar with nibbles was very good, and not silly money either. Location wise you're 2 minutes from Osaka station and right on top of Nishi Umeda subway. It lacks a bit of character, and it looks a little dated but this is an excellent westerner friendly hotel with great travel links.
The hotel location is perfect just in the middle of the city, Osaka station is 3min walk. Hotel staff are very nice, helpful and professional. Rooms really clean nice view on the city and the bed are extremely comfortable. Advice this hotel to all guests.
We stayed here for a small two weeks on our family holiday. Instead of using different hotels we used the Osaka Hilton as our base for all of our side trips. For us this worked very well and the Hilton lived up to our expectations. Check in was easy and courteous and we were in our room within 15 minutes after arrival. We had booked a twin tower suite and the room was large for Japanese standards and had a nice modern design. The room has a guest toilet, living and dining area, working desk, small kitchen, a master bedroom and a modern bathroom with double sinks, bath and separate rain shower. As expected in a 5-star hotel in Japan, the room was very clean, well maintained and the supply of water, bathroom amenities, etc... was abundant. The view from the room was good, looking towards the Umeda Sky Building. Instead of using drapes, they have Japanese style shutters which adds an extra touch and actually blocks out the light perfectly. The location could not be more convenient. It was the main reason for choosing the Hilton over the Conrad (about 10 min walk down the street). The Hilton sits right across from Osaka Station and offers all possible connections for trains and subways. Shin-Osaka (where you can catch the Shinkansen) is ony a 4 minute train ride away. Osaka station is relatively easy to navigate and also offers good dining options. As a gold member we were upgraded to the executive level. The lounge is currently closed for renovation and the hotel is now using an emptied out suite as lounge. It is quite small but the selection offered was OK and the staff could not have been more friendly. They really made us feel welcome and from the second day onwards they remembered what we like. The same goes for the breakfast at the bar downstairs. The selection here is limited but again the staff were wonderful. The bar is used as a temporary base for the executive breakfast and is really a nice place with a jazzy vibe and lots of natural light. I can really not fault this hotel and we had a wonderful stay. The only negative point is that they closed the Japanese, Chinese and buffet restaurant all at the same time. This leaves you with very few options for dining but there is plenty of choice outside of course. The hotel is quite old and renovations were probably due for the dining venues. The main breakfast was now served at the top floor restaurant and this is in dire need of a renovation. It looks and feels very 80-ies and somewhat worn down. The hotel was fully booked and the top floor restaurant is clearly not equipped to handle crowds, leading to chaos and long waiting times. We only went once and always opted for the breakfast downstairs. For us this offered a much better experience. During our entire stay, all of the staff were very helpful and service minded. Requests were handled quickly, professionally and with a smile. Most employees spoke English quite well (our Japanese is very limited). Housekeeping was spot on and we experienced no issues during our entire (long) stay. The hotel also offers a nice pool area and even a wedding chapel. The only improvement we could think of is offering turn down service but that is truly a detail. We will certainly consider the Hilton again for our next stay and we already look forward to seeing the dining floors renovated and open again. Not cheap but highly recommended !!
First they put my kid and me into a smoking room and said that was what saved in my profile ( NO WAY) and secondly they were fully booked, can't fix the problem ( I am a Gold member for more than 10 years) They ended up giving me a room refresher to get rid of the smoking smell for my 4 nights there - Room service forgot to clean my room twice - Even after reminded the room service, they came in cleaning the room but no refill for my shampoo and towels. - Even we told them to come in to clean after 9:30 am, they still tried to open the door twice at around 8am - Laundry put out for service and we even called the service 2 times to remind them that we need to have them ready next day, I found the dirty clothes in the room that night , no one picked up. - By the way, their concierge is great, that was the only thing I like about this hotel
Hilton's hotels are always nice, and this one was no exception. The room was small but met our needs, and staff is very responsive. All of the facilities are up to date and very nice. The location is one of the best things about this hotel, as it is just across from Osaka Station and immediately over a subway station. It is very easy to get anywhere you need to go from this property. We would absolutely stay here again.
Stayed here for a nice and even though the room was pretty pricey, the location is good as it is located opposite osaka station and near umeda subway station. The room was big by Japan station and the bathroom was also spacious with good amentities. Room was clean and service of staff excellent. Also, it is very near to Herbis which is where one can buy ticket and board the airport limousine bus to Kansai airport.
I stay at Hilton Tokyo then heading by Shinkansen to Hilton Osaka with almost 3 hours travelling time. Once arrived I use the subway to go to the hotel. At this hotel you can use the subway or JR to go everywhere nearby easy for transport I stay this hotel for 5 nights through luxuryescape.com which is special benefit credit to spend during stay for 6000Yen daily cocktail free and buffet dinner as well.
