Stayed 2 nights during the last week of November, 26th floor. Big hotel, Lots of people. The breakfast room can be quite crowded and noisy around 9 a.m. Don't expect much in the way of public decorum. LOCATION: Good. Osaka train station is right across the street. Subway, too. Train station is accessible via underground walkway if you don't want to go outside. Shinkansen station is some distance. We took a taxi from there to the hotel. 2,000 yen. Subway is cheaper but standing room only at rush hour. No place for folks with luggage. There's a bus/limousine service connecting the hotel to KIX running hourly or even more often from a station right across from the hotel. Some pick-up times stop at the hotel itself. 1,550 Yen per person. Lots of upmarket shopping all around, some of it right in the Hilton Tower shopping mall itself. Umeda area has lots of restaurants, too, walking distance from the hotel. ROOM: Good. Big city view. Fairly roomy. Modern, up-to-date design with Japanese inflections. Sliding screens on the windows rather than curtains. Nice shower/tub area. Bathroom is well laid out, with Crabtree & Evelyn amenities. Comfortable bed. SERVICES: Not so great. Check-in was OK, but we had to take our own luggage up to our room on the 26th floor and find our own way in. Would expect better from this price point in hotels. But, lots of people checking in and out. Evening buffet dining was just OK in the Checker's restaurant. Better to go out. Breakfast service in the same venue was hectic and crowded but good. We booked through Booking.com and the price we paid when booking a month in advance was about twice what was being offered on the day we actually checked-in. Consequently felt that we paid too much.
I travel 3/4 of the year and in Asia I have stayed in Hilton at several different countries. This is the best one I have stayed in so far. The staff was the model of courtesy and professionalism. They assisted us in booking local reservations and provided linguistic support. The bathhouse was a welcome surprise and exceptional. I think we took a dip in there at least once a day. If I am in the area again I will definitely stay here again and strongly recommend this to any colleagues and friends.
As usual. An international brand like Hilton won’t fail. Coupled with the renowned Japanese excellent service culture this has make my stay here wonderful. Helpful staff and especially to Nathan and Don for their help and good discussion.
Stand out feature right from the beginning was the hotels location. The hotel is located 3mins away from the Osaka central station. So whether you are arriving by train or by bus, the hotel is never far. Some airport buses even depart from the hotel itself. This is very handy when it is timed with your checkout from the hotel. The room was in my opinion large by Japanese standards and had an amazing view of Osaka city (facing East). The other option is facing the railway station. Staff at the hotel were also very friendly and there is also a decent sized breakfast buffet. Only negative that I could find was the decor in the room, it seemed a bit tired/dated.
My first Hilton stay in a very long time, and what a stay it was. Three nights here were great, in a beautiful hotel with lovely accommodations. The bathroom was incredible, with a deep and spectacular bathtub and a modern incredible shower, all draining into a rock floor below in an innovative and unique design. The staff was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the shops and area around the hotel. Plenty of shopping nearby and a great train station around the corner. Oh, and I had a a lovely view of the city from my 16th floor room. A gorgeous place to stay in Osaka. Highly recommended. :)
This hotel is located at a very convenient place near shops and restaurants. The executive lounge was fine. The only thing was the small size of the room but it's Japan, so I can't ask for too much. Overall, it was a good stay.
The hotel was easy to get to from KIX International airport. There's an airport bus that takes you to the hotel. It took about 30 to 40 minutes depending on the traffic. It's also minutes away from Osaka station. The staff was very hospitable and friendly.
I am satisfied the services of Hilton Osaka as usual. Room is clean, and amenities are good. Especially the quality of towels are excellent to be satisfied. The location is just 3 minutes walk from Osaka terminal, and I recommend to be used for Business trip.
This is really 4.5 Excellent location and rooms with redone bathrooms are very good. Service levels are excellent. Staff in exec lounge very helpful. Food quality is strong. I am dingy it because gym is weak and small. For over 600 rooms the gym is too small. Japanese bath areas are tired with chipped tiles. Breakfast buffet get crowded and food items don’t get replaced fast enough. Will stay again but it could be better
Stayed at the Hilton in November 2017. Hilton hotel is located at an excellent location. The staffs are friendly and speak good English. Upon arrival I was hoping for an early check-in however because the room I had reserved the guests haven't check out yet therefore they were not able to meet my request which is understandable as I noticed there were ton of luggages in the hotel lobby. The room was not huge but bigger than standard room in Japan. It is clean and amenities are in good condition. One thing I would say though i could hear the noise from the room next to and above us. It wasn't loud enough to bother me though. The Hilton is located about 2-3 mins walk from Osaka station which makes it a fabulous location. Overall this is a good hotel. Would definitely recommend.
