We have stayed in Formosa Gardens with full satisfaction for 14 of the previous 17 years during the week before Thanksgiving. However, upon arrival at Four Corners we knew our satisfaction was at jeopardy. The mulch-bed plastic was sticking up, hedges unkept, and vines on the power meter. The pool surround was full of mold and mildew as was the pool deck. Inside, the front door weather-striping was hanging loose and all the floor corners and baseboards were grungy. In the 'family room' was an outdated, full-size refrigerator right in front of the window. All the family room blinds were tangled and dirty and non-functioning. In the 'game-room' was torn carpet, torn pool table surface, broken pool ques, and an open, nasty mop and bucket in the doorway. The kitchen microwave cover was hanging off and the bar stools were so dirty we had to use towels to sit on. The rug in the family room was gungy and all four corners were curled up. In the bedrooms, hangers were on the bedpost and the bathroom tiles and baseboards were mildewed and grungy. The pool and hot tub floors and wall were dirty, and again I must say, the entire pool enclosure and fascia was covered with mildew. I could say more, but the picture should be clear.
The property was so embarrassingly unkept, that we canceled all normal visits and invites of regular local guests.
I reported this to the owner at arrival and the owner did give us pool heat; but the only effort to satisfy was to say "I will do better" and "thanks for the photos and I will notify my property manager since I am an absentee owner".
We do not recommend this property.
