Stuck in back building clutter everywhere 1st room had no air conditioning no one answered phone so had to go back to 1st building to get another room. There was a nice seating area but was no lighting there and could not see tv unless laying in bed. Called and asked about ice and vending machine and told ice was only on 3rd and 4th floor with no vending. Went to 3rd floor no ice machine but trash everywhere. Water from sink smelled and tasted funny. Felt like 2nd class citizens. This was maybe a 50 dollar a night room. Very disappointing.

Upon check-in, you’ll have to go to the sales team table to obtain your room info, while they try diligently to set you up with a 45 minute sales meeting to join the “club”. This hotel used to be part of the larger “club” but has since been bought by Holiday Inn. This is not a $185 a night hotel! It’s been renovated and not of typical Holiday Inn quality! Three layers of colored paint on the wall where the new bed does not cover the old bed footprint! The MOST frustrating was the morning of check out, we made use of the pool down the access drive and returned to our room around 10:25am. We were NOT able to get back in to our room. They had already shut off our keys. We were NOT the only ones. This was extremely frustrating and took two trips down stairs to the front desk and wasted 25 minutes of our precious time.

I tried several times to reach front desk because our room was so dark I couldn’t see well. Walls are super thin. They started shutting down breakfast five minutes before it’s 9:30 close and then turned off lights shortly after. Not a horrible experience but don’t plan to stay there again.
