We have gone here for the past 2 years and love it. Close to the beach and shopping / food. This time I had an adjoining room to my brothers family, so it was that much better! Thank you Shilo Inn Seaside. We'll back next year! :-)

Most beautiful room in seaside gorgeous views and pet friendly!!

When I checked into room there was food all over the floor. It obviously hadn’t been cleaned. The jacuzzi smelled badly. The staff was friendly. It definitely could have been better for the price we paid.

The view is wonderul. Dont like the restaurant change. No safty bars in th shower .The mattress was horrible and coverlet was full of lumps. We've stayed here several times but not sure we will again. Disappointing...it was our go to place. Plus, no lounge. DISAPPOINTING!!

The view of the ocean and pet friendly. Clean room and full kitchen.

Employees were nice hotel is not worth the amount they are charging for it the doors falling apart dust everywhere dirt in the door jams I got the deluxe suite with a stove and I could not reads hot to work the stove everything had rubbed off so you have to turn on and feel what burner was on. Outside light wires were exposed to weather and could easily of caused harm to someone

The property is old, although maintained in clean condition. The standard room (non-ocean view) is quite tiny with an uncomfortable bed. Quite old and saggy, in fact. Be prepared to be woken up if your neighbors wake up before you. The connecting door may as well not be there as you can hear people’s entire conversations from the other room. The people above us walked on the floor like elephants stampeding. Tough to upgrade walls and ceilings at this point to make it more soundproof. The TV is about a 19”, probably the smallest TV I have seen in a hotel in the past 10+ years. We were there for three nights and the hotel ran out of coffee packets for the rooms after the first night. Unbelievable! On the positive side, the guys at the front desk upon check-in were extremely friendly and welcoming. The parking is also great and plentiful. For the money, stay a couple of blocks away in one of the newer hotels and enjoy the short stroll to the beach.

I stayed here many years ago maybe 20 years ago. I was happy to return to see what it was about. But for the price there are better options around for newer and cleaner options. Room is outdated. Even though looks like some remodel has been done like the tv, and bathroom but it's not nearly enough for what other options are out there. Hotel is very tired looking. What I didn't like. The heater in the room needs to be replaced. Very old over 30 years? Makes lots of noise. Had a couple stains on the bed sheets maybe blood? What I like was how close to the beach it was. And many food options around. Check in was a breeze.

No breakfast. Great pool nice view Great location need updating

View was great, room was clean, needed use the computer in the business center and it was not connected to the internet. Asked them to check into it and it did not get resolved during my stay.

The rooms are in desperate need of updating. The furniture is so old and dirty that I had to place the bath linens in the couch to feel comfortable enough to sit on it. The lobby shouldn’t have nicer, and I mean so much nicer, furniture than the actual guest room. Old tables and mismatched dirty chairs as well. Great view but for what we paid we should be able to enjoy the room WITH the drapes closed as well.

I liked the location. I did not like that the fireplace in room did not work, no screen door on slider door, multiple light bulbs burnt out, tv remote did not work, but we did get in the room an hour early.

Had a kitchen and we didn’t use it but would if we stayed longer. Small tub. Had to ask for towels for the pool and weren’t allowed to take them back to the room. The view was awesome! Great parking

didn't like the door that connected to the other room

The only reason to stay at this hotel is the location and its promixmity to the beach, which can be a mixed blessed. There were several main reasons I gave this hotel a negative review: 1. Noise - our room

Location was convenient for us, love the view from our room. Nice and clean place. Will visit again.

The rooms weren’t very clean. Crumbs on the kitchen floor, the door trim was pieced together, no pull cord for the curtain on the sliding glass door, the dishes were dirty or stained, the pool had green mildew/mold growing on the rim parts, the pool itself wasn’t very clean looking (a little green in color). The door keys were very temperamental. It looks like it needs updating. The only real clean looking area was the lobby. The best part was the view. Also, it would’ve been nice to have a screen on the sliding glass door.
