I didn’t like that we paid for a full ocean view and the room 228. Was shorted that I guess because of that hideous infrastructure. It was nasty and blocked the view the main reason we stay here. I feel whatever guest stays here get shorted

The location and view were great. The staff were spectacular. The balcony was quite large. The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub and I enjoyed the view from the pool area while watching them swim. Yes the rooms need a refresher but they're working on that now. We were also very impressed that even with that major project going on we were never the least bit disturbed by it. The few construction workers we ran into were very nice and very welcoming as well. Overall it was a great few days at this hotel.

Fantastic Location, but Be Prepared for Noise

The property is quite noisy — conversations from nearby rooms are clearly audible, and every time someone closes their door, the vibrations make everything in the room rattle. Privacy is definitely a concern here. However, the excellent location makes up for many of these drawbacks, putting you close to everything you need.

This was a rough trip. We did not get notified the property was under construction until we were almost to the hotel. Once there we weren't allowed to enter the parking lot due to everything being coned off without having directions about parking. Check in was great. There were flies everywhere, in the elevators, our room, the hallways. Kinda gross. The elevators took forever to get anywhere and going from the pool to the room was freezing cold when you're standing waiting for an elevator. The bed was horrible and super hard. My arms were actually numb from sleeping on it. The room across the hall had dogs barking for almost four hours and well past 11pm. We called the front desk and they tried calling the room to talk with their owner but they kept barking. The people down rlthe hall and the back sode of our room were slamming their doors and running up and down the hallway after the dogs calmed down a little. We actually received a phone call telling us we had a noisw complaint due to the people running all over, screaming and slamming doors. The staff did try to correct the issues with the other guests and part of the reason we stayed here was there was a pool and the hotel was dog friendly. We have a service dog and appreciate being able to have her but I'm not going to stay here again anytime soon. I was told in the morning at check out that they removed the late check out fee for us but it was still charged on my bank account. Paying 400 for this? horrible
