The room was a little small. Chairs were uncomfortable. A larger table would have been nice.

The Shearwater is one of the nicest hotels we've stayed in. We loved it! The rooms are extremely comfortable, pleasant and clean. The room was quiet and from the third floor our view of the ocean was good, although we did also overlook a restaurant and another hotel, but they only blocked the view a little bit. It was worth it for the quality of the room. They location was very conviennent.

Spacious, clean, well-furnished room with good quality towels & other room amenities (no plastic cups!). Enjoyed the 4th-floor ocean view & loved using only the fireplace for heating on the cold rainy days we were there. Central LC location is nice. Main disappointment was meager breakfast (blamed on COVID) but at least delivered to room on time, & plenty of coffee (12-C pot!). Also appreciated the courteous housekeeping checks (gentle knock on the door each day).
The property might be one of the most well done properties I have been to at the Oregon Coast. It is aesthetically pleasing, inviting, cozy; and they have thought EVERYTHING. Breakfast in bed is a nice touch. But, the pictures of the view are very misleading, I am not sure if this is the hotel or Orbitz. It is NOT oceanfront and the view is actually of dumpsters, parking lots, and buildings. We were so disappointed.
The nightly social hour with free wine was great. We also really enjoyed having our breakfast brought to our room. The staff does a great job of making you feel welcome. Never had a hotel experience like this one.
Construction at Kylos was disrupting since they were cutting tile outside until 9pm. But the hotel stay was excellent.
The room was very comfortable and clean! The staff was very nice. The only complaint was the "ocean view" wasn't exactly an ocean view - it was more of one could see the ocean between the two buildings in front of the hotel.
The road and restaurant noise was loud. Hard to sit on the balcony and enjoy the ocean view with the ambient noise
