A lot of the small essentials needed some repairs that could have been simple fixes. The microwave didn’t have a handle to open so you had to grab under the door to open it. The stove front glass connected to the handle of the door was missing screws so the glass door would fall apart when opening it. The ice machine of the refrigerator didn’t work. Other than that the place was nice but these simple fixes should be expected. Also as we were packing up to leave with a check out time of 10AM we were returning to the room at 9:15AM after loading up the vehicle to have everyone use the restroom and we were already locked out as the passcode no longer worked. Good thing we already had all our belongings out of the residence.

Gorgeous Condo but lacking in instructions

Actual condo was gorgeous. Except there was an odor around the kitchen area the whole time. We never got a code to the door so we assumed we got it at the desk at checkin. Nope. So I had to call the number to get a code to get in. This is after we FINALLY got a parking spot in the parking garage (that should come with its own set of directions) Elevator situation was terrible. Every time people were waiting on elevators on every floor for forever. One would finally open and it would be packed. Not an ideal situation for families with carts full of luggage. There should have been information stating no tents are allowed on the beach. I've never been to a beach that doesn't allow tents. We came back to our tent knocked down with a ticket?! Lazy River not so lazy with 800 people in it and kids jumping off the sides. Workers at the cafe were SUPER rude. Code to the sauna on 14th floor not provided. I called and liquid life said 'maybe that's something you aren't allowed to have access to'. Had to go all the way down to the front desk for the code. Code to the gym provided in the instruction packet did not work. We had to wait for someone inside to let us in and give us the correct code. We got DoorDash and left instructions to meet at second floor lobby. guards wouldn't let them go up the ramp and made them go to the first floor-- but signal shoddy so didn't get the message til 10 mins later. We also never found the chess set

Nice place

The unit was very nice and clean, everything was as described. The only issues we had was not having hot water for 2 days and that is tough with small children. I feel the booking agency did an ok job handling this but it was not in a timely fashion. We also had a bed situation, the box springs was broke on one of the beds causing adults to have to sleep in the floor. This was only handled by sending an air mattress. Overall our stay was ok just wish things would have been handled in a timely manner.

Not the best room in the building

We’ve stayed multiple times at The oasis (Phoenix west 2) and have always loved it this time I did accudentally book a room not looking at the beach but that’s my fault. But the cleanliness was not great. Fans covered in dust, finger prints all over tvs, no extra ice maker outside of the fridge. I found a retainer case and a portable charger that were missed I guess from previous guest. I got a Tupperware bowl out of the cabinet and it was two together and the bottom one was disgusting because it had been put up wet before us. The couch cushions were in bad shape. All the beds except the master were TERRIBLE. We slept on the couch tryin to find some comfort(there was none there either) The hot water heater also stopped working yesterday and we had to get maintenance Overall just not a good room

False advertisement

Virbo stated on their website that the condo had beach front view. When we checked in it was on the back side facing the bay. I called the manager and the would not move use to another condo unless we paid more money for the other condo. It was not my mistake. I have screen shots I feel that they should have corrected the situation and not charged us extra for their false advertising. We will NEVER stay at the Phoenix again and I will let everyone that I can know how they do business.

Review

Upon arrival was given wrong room number and code walked in on another family. When I called was told my actual room was not ready and had not even begin cleaning. Had already bought $300 worth of groceries and after third call was final able to go n room to put groceries up until finished cleaning. Lady on phone was not nice front desk was not able to help in the midst of this I received a call my daughter and family was invoked n accident with all being injured. My son arrived about the time we left for hospital but he was not able to get n the room the code he was given was incorrect. Once he did get in two of the rooms had water leaking from the ceiling. The worst experience we have ever had in all the years we have been at the beach.
