Hôtel du Parc
5/5 Excellent
"The beds are large and comfortable, and while the rooms are well used and perhaps need a bit of refurbishment they were clean and cosy, exactly what we needed. The bathrooms are fresh and modern.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, even more so as we were there during a France vs England rugby game, and whilst we lost (England), everyone was in good spirits with a friendly atmosphere at the bar.
We visited with family including our 2 year old, and he enjoyed roaming round the large lobby and bar area and playing with some of the activities setup up for children.
We had breakfast on one morning which was reasonable and they had some limited gluten free options for my wife who has coeliac so we didn’t need to worry about finding gluten free food while out.
We stayed 2 nights using the hotel as a base to visit the Aquarium in Boulogne-sur-Mer before continuing on a trip across Europe, and as this was the 2nd time we’ve stayed here we certainly would be happy to return again in the future."
