To much money breakfast awful no parking vending machine not working wouldn’t take bills beds to small

Water didn't get warm enough. Floor was noisy when walking and could hear people from other rooms walking.

Although we had paid fully through Orbitz when we booked the room months prior to arrival, the checkin clerk demanded my credit card and promptly charged me for the room. I calmly showed my Orbitz receipt and my credit card bill proving I had already paid for the room. Although she did refund my credit card, there was no apology for the mistake. The price was grossly inflated for the weekend we stayed — more than $20 over the posted rack room rate on the door. For $170 per night at a Super 8, I would hope for at least a pool or exercise room, or perhaps even hard boiled eggs at breakfast. Instead we got a potholed parking lot and a minimal breakfast. The shampoo bottle provided with the room was half empty when we arrived — making me doubt whether the cleaning staff did a thorough job cleaning the room or even changed the bedsheets. The room was indeed quiet and comfortable, but with the unapologetic staff and minimal accommodations I would have expected to pay at least a third less than this amount even during premium season.

Needed a room to get out of the downpour. Convenient exit. The hotel lobby was dirty . There was no on at the desk. When the clerk finally acknowledged someone was checking in she was nice enough but not terribly interested. The person who checked us out was quick to find fault with the night clerk but quickly reversed her opinion when she realized the night clerk had not made an error. The rooms could be cleaner.

Good for a short stay, but disappointed the rooms don't have a drug or microwave. Still a good choice if you are being a pet.

This is my second time staying at the Super8 in Oneonta and it was just as lovely as the first time. The hotel staff is welcoming and professional. We travel with our two dogs and it is often difficult to find an establishment that we can trust. The room was very clean and the grounds are perfect for pets.

Hotel rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Hotel was close to highways and multiple stores.

Overall the room was decent size, staff was nice. Very few complaints!

Hotel was pretty clean - but room didn't have a microwave, frig, or even an iron and ironing board. We paid for an adjoining room while there for a family member, and their room actually had an iron and ironing board (but still no frig and microwave).

Hotel is a four out of ten. Definitely lower quality hotel. Rooms have linoleum floors rather than carpet. They make you sign a form outlining what you will pay for certain damages. Really? I'm in my early 50's with my wife and college bound SUNY Oneonta son.

Our stay was wonderful! The staff and especially the manager, were some of the most accommodating and thoughtful individuals we have ever encountered. Many thanks for such a great stay -- highly recommended!

I was here for 2 days to go see the Baseball Hall of Fame, and found a terrific hotel to stay in. Ideal location, extremely affordable, very easy access to Cooperstown. As for the hotel itself, great location, as it is right off the interstate, there is a roller skating rink about 3 minutes down the road from here, the views of the New York mountains are very picturesque, and I counted 6 restaurants and a movie theater all within walking distance of the hotel, including a 24-hour Dennys on the grounds of the hotel. There were a couple of minor hiccups with the stay at the hotel-vending machine only on the first floor (I stayed on second floor), the trashcan in the bathroom was not emptied when I checked in, and the continental breakfast, while free, was not much to write home about however. these hiccups would not deter me from staying here again. Bottom line is this-if you are headed to Cooperstown to see the Baseball HOF, this is a terrific hotel to stay in. Next time I go to Cooperstown, I will be staying here.

My husband and sons went to Cooperstown for the weekend and stayed at the Super 8. Room was great and they appreciated the free breakfast in the morning.

A very nice room for the money. This hotel is only a thirty minute drive to Cooperstown. This hotel makes sense when you look at rates in Cooperstown.

Hotel was a decent place to stay for a Cooperstown visit. Had the basics. For the price, it worked fine.

Sorry about the "rug." We did away with them years ago. We do have microwaves available, you just need to let us know if you need one. Thank you for posting a review!
