One kid friendly hotel, staffs alway try their best for a better arrangement from baby supplies till room request. Hotel has great facilities. Things need to improve which is by the day we stay, typhoon hit Okinawa and we got no choice but eat in hotel restaurant (buffet), it cost us JPY3000/person (breakfast) which very pricey and there's no other restaurant near by the hotel. And my parent-in-law room always missing towel after the housekeeping, they have to call the front desk every time. But overall still recommended.

Very good environment, very impressive lobby with many sea creatures not just fishes. Room is spacious with a nice balcony. Each floor has a decent smoking area which smokers can enjoy without affecting others. The hotel Beach Club offer "Zipline" and water slides near the outdoor pool.

I was just here overnight while on a business trip, but the room was very comfortable, containing everything I needed. I was even able to relax after dinner on my veranda with a good book, and no mosquitoes to bother me! The bath/shower was very nice. The breakfast buffet was also excellent, even including some iconic Okinawan dishes as well as the usual breakfast buffet fare. The staff were friendly and made everything easy.

It was a headache to find the right accommodation for my parents and his friends for over 15 rooms in total to attend my brother's wedding. Out of so many emails that I sent out for rate enquiry, thank you Naoko San from the Sales team, she gave me the quickest reply that she gave me confidence and sense of secure to stay in Sheraton than the rest of the other brands, including Hilton, Renaissance and Marriott...... During my stay, can feel that the hotel is on its peak season, yet all the staff are very helpful and friendly all the time, special thanks to Ms. Lee at the Concierge! Housekeeping did a very detailed job and Recreation always made us enjoy their activities a lot. Breakfast is another highlight! Love the favorites and freshness!! We and our friends have enjoyed every bit of our stay. Will definitely recommend my friends to stay in Sheraton whenever they travel to Okinawa in future!!

We booked our trip to Okinawa a few weeks prior to our visit the last weekend of September. At the time of booking we noted that there were multiple restaurants available, with multiple dining options. One week after we booked we saw on the website that one of the restaurants was scheduled to be closed for private functions, and it was not until we arrived that we found out that the casual poolside dining option was also closed entirely. Because of this, when we arrived at 2 pm there was no place for us to grab a bite to eat, we were advised to walk a few blocks to the Family Mart to get lunch. The website was not very forthcoming with this information when we initially booked, which was not only disappointing, but the pricing per night did not reflect the fact that the hotel now considered itself to be in the off season. We did reach out to the hotel with regard to our concerns and they were gracious in listening to our concerns. We thank them for taking the time and their consideration. The hotel property was great. Our room was on one of the SPG floors of the main tower. The room was well appointed, the beds were comfortable (even the roll away bed we needed for our youngest daughter). The view was nice. The service was prompt and excellent. The pool area was great, it was clean, the waterslides were a big hit with my kids. They also enjoyed some of the other amenities including the indoor pool, paddle bike, kayaks, as well as the zipline. The beach was nice, however the swimming area was very limited in order to make room for other water sports. The Restaurants are the downfall of this hotel. The breakfast buffet was the best meal that we had, but it was woefully overpriced. The dinner buffet at Senses was not something I would recommend, the Grill was fine, but depending on the evening it may or may not be opened to the public. We ended up having to rent a car so that we could go off property to eat lunch. The hotel was lovely but for the price we paid I'm not sure we will return.

The hotel has fantastic location directly at the see in the bay. The water is warm and very pleasant. The tropical fish and starfish are easy to spot in shallow waters. It is perfect to do water-sports. The hotel itself is targeting your families with small children. there are tons of entertainment for kids - it was impressive. At the same time, for us travelling as couple with no kids, this fact was not bothering at all. The property is so big and so many things for the kids to do, that they are not bothering other guests. Frankly speaking if I knew upfront that it is a family hotel I would not book there, but I definitely do not regret. The hotel building is a concrete monster probably dating in the 70s. It is newly renovated, the room were new, clean and not worn out. The rooms are small, at least the one that I stayed in. Initially we had double with queen bed, but the room was incredible tiny and we switched to the twin bed room that was much larger. The decor is simple, just like the furniture. Bathroom is very clean and relatively large with two divided spaces for toilet and sink and shower and bathtub. Each room has a balcony. Non of the rooms in the main building face directly the see. It is somehow on the side. But you can observe the see from the balcony. The Japanese bath and indoor swimming pool are for additional fee paid once for the whole stay. I strongly recommend the Japanese bath experience. The facility is new and the water is very hot. It was practically almost always empty. Gym is rather poor but has multi activity machine what enables to make basic training routine. It was practically always empty. I really enjoyed my stay there, the waterfront office and the beach restaurant are very nice. beach is sandy, water warm. The staff is attentive but very formal and stiff. It was sometimes grotesque, but after a while a bit tiring. We would like to highlight two hotel employees who were outstanding and deserve recognition. The guy at the front desk (forgot his name) he was originally from Nepal. Very much contact oriented, friendly and helpful. He was spontaneous and open and it was great to chat with him whenever I passed through the lobby area. He helped us with several things in the hotel like relocation and trips bookings. The second great person was Mark working as lifeguard at the waterfront. Always happy to chat and smiling. He was very friendly person. Both gentlemen were very professional and human oriented on contrary to most of the staff who gave you very much robotic feeling.

Great place for family and kids. Food options of high quality and the service from staff at all levels was really nice. Great beaches and outdoor areas and many local attractions nearby. Would definitely return

We had a wonderful stay at Sheraton with our toddler. Room was spacious and clean and of great value. There's a shallow sea outside the hotel beach which was full of small sea creatures and perfect for young kids to explore! We would like extend special thanks to Tracy Acosta at Room Reservations. She had gone extra miles to research and made reservations for us to ensure a smooth and comfortable stay (including restaurants and even checking for us in advance diapers of the right size in close-by convenience stores which we didn't really expect!). Thanks again Tracy!! The only area to be improved is their breakfast... it needs to be of better quality :p

Our family checked in two deluxe rooms at 4/F on 6 Aug. One room is okay but for the other has a bad urine smell inside the toilet. The hotel staff helps to clean up twice. Unfortunately the air fresheners don't stand much of a chance against the smell. We moved to 8/F on the next day. Similarly, one room is okay, the other room in the same position still has the urine smell, much slighter though. We think it's something to do with the drains and pipes. Sun Marina is an old hotel that has been taken over by Sheraton in 2016. The hotel generally is comfortable but the facilities are a bit tired. We paid USD570 for a twin room per nite with breakfast. We understand August is peak season in Okinawa, but it's not worth at all. Maybe the new wing (South Tower) will be better but you have to pay even higher. We will stay at other newer hotel if we come back again. Breakfast is average. Hotel room is clean, spacious but basic. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The hotel staff we met are helpful, polite, cheerful and efficient. They try their best to help. They are the great assets of the hotel.

We got a beautiful room for 4 people in the South Tower building - everything seemed brand new. The resort offers a lot of marine sport activities. The blue cave snorkeling tour is highly recommendable. The staff are friendly and helpful adding to the overall very positive experience.
