This is a beautiful hotel in an absolutely stunning location with beautiful beaches and walks among the rocks and caves. The rooms are generous and have wonderful views out to sea, with a little balcony that even has a washing line if you need it. I was an idiot and went swimming with my sunglasses on my head then jumped upright under a bridge. There was blood all over and the pool staff could not have been nicer or more attentive. It's ok, I lived. We had to stay an extra day because of a typhoon (which didn't really turn out to be much more than a windy rainy day) and I was pleased :) The hotel put on entertainment to keep us busy while indoors and even gave us a special rate for the room. There were three breakfasts, Chinese, Japanese and Western. All of our party, even the Chinese at Western. It was lovely. I'd go back here in a heartbeat.
I was part of a production team who stayed at Manza. It was a crazy time for the hotel and they looked after every one quite well. It's built like a cruise ship inside very beachy looking with lots of families. Okinawa is not cheap! For 6 teas and a few snacks in the western restaurant it was around $100 SGD. The western restaurant breakfast was nice enough good variety. We had some funny experiences with staff who were quite strict - in bar wavy we were standing to greet some other team members when we were told to sit as it was a non standing bar! Quite funny! The Japanese restaurant is nice but expensive. There are stunning beaches right next to the hotel and an amazing chapel overlooking the sea - definitely recommend visiting in summer it was freezing in march
We were here with 11 and 15 years old kids. Wonderful place and great food. Quite close to main nature attractions and above all the service level and activity opportunities were excellent. Highly recommend
The pictures on the website show a vibrant hotel pulsating with activity and food options. The reality, at least in the off season, is a hotel with 2 shut down pools, 3 closed restaurants, and very little to do. The hotel is located far from attractions and restaurants so you are very limited in your options if you do not have a car. Taxis are very expensive from the site. It also felt like the hotel catered to Eastern tastes, which is fine but didn't really work well for our family. The rooms are very, very small but extremely clean. The staff is also very nice. Overall, the price is definely not worth it.
I stayed there in Jan to celebrate my 20th anniversary. Hotel is excellently located with beautiful scene. Severe and reasonably priced parking space. Service and facilities are good to meet basic international standard. They offer choices of breakfast restaurant while food varieties are basic. I told the hotel I was celebrating 20th anniversary there and of course I booked a double room. Though they gave me a better room, shocking was they gave me a 2-bed-combined room that a gap obviously seen between beds. Does it make sense? We did ask any special arrangements for Anne Evers art travelers. We were given a half bottle of wine if we spent a dinner at their restaurant. Was it too mean? And they only have casual dining. Finally we went to Hotel Monterey for the dinner. We were there for 4 days. They only do valet parking for the first day. We parked wasn't a matter, but would they offer valet or an umbrella if it's raining? They didn't. Of course not a bad hotel under the brand Inter Con. But absolutely not for honeymooners or anniversary celebration.
I love the size of this resort. The beach is nice and big, and the outdoor swimming pool is specious enough. Hospitality is reliable by IHG brand. The hotel always meet my expectations in every way. I will go back there again.
We stayed at this hotel for 5 days and it was a great experience overall. Location: The hotel is located near Cape Manzamo and it's close to middle of Okinawa prefecture. It's about an hour drive from the Naha Airport via the toll hwy. There are 2 convenient stores around the area and it's around 5 mins drive away. As our plan include Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, the drive to the aquarium was around an hour as well. Room: The room was spacious and the view was stunning as our room was facing Cape Manzamo and the beach. We were able to see the fireworks (Only during summer) directly from our room. Service & facilities The staff was friendly and professional as we were welcomed by the valet parking staff upon our arrival. There is a sandy beach right next to the hotel. A list of activities (Paid separately) near the beach is available and we tried the coral reef snorkeling, sea kayaking and undersea walk. The water is clear and the coral can be clearly seen during snorkeling and the undersea walk. There are 4 or 5 restaurants inside the resort and we tried two of them. The buffet restaurant was ok but not that great. On the other hand, the Japanese restaurant was surprisingly good with their local ingredients which included the Ishigaki Wagyu (Beef) and sea grape. The server was really friendly and he actually dropped us a pack of the souvenir upon our checkout.
Located near Cape Manzamo. Excellent view from our room. Free wifi. Clean room. Friendly service staff. Many restaurants nearby. Kids friendly. There's an indoor playground and activities for kids. We didn't try it though cos our days were packed with other activities. Admission to playground is not free.
This is the first hotel that I stay in Okinawa and it did not disappoint. From the staff helping us to park our car to the reception and the room; everything is perfect. The check in process is quick , the staff always greet you warmly and there is a minimart in the hotel. The room view is so good that you do not want to leave the hotel room at all by just lying on the bed looking at the blue sky and sea is a blessing. The nearby water park provide some fun for beach lover too. The room is clean and very spacious and I am very particular about room cleanliness. I almost wanted to extend my stay there with all these good point of the hotel. What I love as well so that they help you park your car after a long day and send it to the entrance for you when u go out. Very good service !
Choose this hotel for wedding trip however was not best choice: although very luxury hotel with impressive architecture, views & pools / private beach - the hotel and facilities are mainly targeted for families with children so lots of noise & kids fuzzling around. Besides, many rich non educated Chinese from Hong Kong prefer to stay here also Furthermore for an intercontinental hotel pity that not all staff speaks good English and that there is great waiting time (30 min) at breakfast due too inadequate staff: tables get not emptied, cleaned, etc..very disappointing for 5* hotel. Many shops inside but no ATM for Eu/American cash withdrawal - disappointing Finally, as many resorts in Okinawa far from capital Naha so nothing to do outside - enve acquariyum is 1h (100€) awzay taxi drive. In short, as others used to mention: not worth the money
