Great hotel, great view. I didn’t see any local trains in the area. We went by car. Really nice place.
Had a fantastic stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was very big. Excellent food selection at the buffet.check in was easy as was the check out process. Indoor onsen on sight to use with fantastic out door onsen also. Hotel is away from beppu and has limited shuttle buses. May have to use taxi services if you miss the shuttles. Average taxi was $30 AUD one way. Local Trains were available however we did not use them. Not sure if JRpass covered local train.
