While, on paper, the hotel is far from the train station, it is actually a very convenient location because the bus network in Oita is very good, and a major bus stop is located just across the avenue. There is a convenience store and a pretty good, laid-back, restaurant in the building. The staff was extremely polite and responsive. Very professional. The room was quiet and clean. Comfortable bed.

This hotel is one of three in the same street, this hotel is reasonable new. Good location five minutes walk from Fukuoka shopping and ten miutes to Hakata, Karaoke 1 minute any direction. Staff as good as it gets in Japan some english but usually not confident to engage you (they can)

I liked it.

Quick check-in provided me with a luggage dolly, which was much appreciated. Proximal to every flavour of Oita main city; Oita Station is just a 10 minute walk away, the shopping district (shotengai) is in between the station and the hotel, and the night life area is just across the street (Miyako district). Excellent room: spacious, comfortable, good sized television, chair with castors. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was, in my opinion, especially the shower, was the most satisfying I have experienced in Japan- simply, superb water pressure operated by a single lever faucet mixer. The comforter (photo attached) was stained with what looked like specks of blood; so that wasn’t too great. Being a smoking room, I guess it couldn’t be helped that the smell of tobacco would occasionally waft into the room, but it wasn’t at all as bothersome as it sounds.

Overall great modern and clean hotel. It is in a great location with a lot of stuff nearby, including a convenience store right in the hotel. The wifi worked well, the room was clean, and it was very well-maintained. I would definitely stay again.

There are few hotels in our price range near the train station in Oita but this one was in a walkable distance for us. It is a older property but it has been well maintained. Staff were friendly and provided good service.

Most comfortable bed on our stay

The bath was lovely. The breakfast buffet in the restaurant downstairs was top-notch! The location is handy enough, and from the higher floors you actually get a nice view over the city to Mount Aso (I think is the name?) Either way, the staff were helpful, and it was bright and clean in our room. Pretty much had everything we needed!

Oita experience

This hotel is about a 10 mins walk from station. Staff are helpful but speak little english. Breakfast was good and their restaurant in the evening was excellent. Rooms are good size for Japan and include 2 chairs. Bicycle hire is available at the station. I would stay here again.

Great service, Great location.

Excellent front-desk and concierge service. Went way out of their way to please. My only disappointment was room size. We had stayed @ Daiwa Roynet in Kanazawa on a previous trip. The size of those rooms were huge and we thought this property would have similar room size.

Efficient, clean and friendly hotel

Walking distance to Oitajoshi Park which we had the luck of seeing Plum trees in full bloom at the eastern end. Also we found a great Tsukemen nearby. An alternative good base for visiting Beppu & nearby areas.

Clean, Quiet, and Delicious Breakfast!

We chose to stay in Oita one night before heading to Beppu to experience the onsen. This hotel is easy to find, as it's a straight shot on the main road from the station. The hotel was clean, quiet, had great amenities, and offered extra toiletries for women. The room was spacious compared to other similarly priced hotels in Japan, and the breakfast, which was in the restaurant attached to the hotel, was outstanding with many different options and regional specialties. I especially liked the grilled fish and tamagoyaki. The kabosu citrus drink was delicious too. There is also a Lawson on the lower level, which is great for any last minute travel needs or late night snacks. All in all a great stay in Oita. I would definitely stay here again!
