Summary:

Cozy location within walking distance to Ogallala Beach & less than 10 minute from Downtown Ogallala. Our condos are situated on the south side of Lake Mac, straight north of Ogallala. Closest access from lake to I-80, but this area receives much less traffic than most other parts of the lake. With great lake views this hidden gem, has been newly renovated inside and out, new appliances, stone countertops to name a few. Features unique spiral staircase as well as exterior stairs.



Getting Around:

Plenty of parking! Quiet area, driving is preferred.
The condo is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a coffee maker, and an ironing board.

Good overall

Great stay with friends and family. Two items to consider: basement gets very cold with AC on while upstairs is too hot, hard to balance the thermostat. Place offers very small pots and pens so if you plan on cooking I would bring my own. Other than these place had everything we need. Location is good.

This property has a couple of things going for it TBH: a.) close proximity to town & to Ogalalla Beach, b.) nice view of Nebraska sunsets, c.) cold A/C. While some reviewers noted cleanliness of the property & responsive communication from the owner manager - this was NOT our experience. What we found was: - Front door was ajar when we arrived. Result: the condo was full of flies. I was still killing flies on day 3 of our stay. - The couches were so dirty (popcorn, dirt, stains), we couldn't even sit on them. Some simple stain remover is needed. However, you can use the nice outdoor chairs in the living room as a replacement. - Kitchen: The toaster & coffee maker both dirty. Someone had spilled powered sugar all inside one cabinet and on toaster. Trash can was not wiped down (food dried in 3 places on the lid). Some utensils in drawers were dirty. - Wifi did not work for 1/3rd of our stay. No wifi no TV's. It took 16 hours to get resolved. - When we contacted the owner, he was polite, but slow to respond at times - up to 4 hours at times (sometimes NO RESPONSE, unless WE followed up). - General appearance: Property looked worn and was not kept up with. If you've ever stayed in a worn beach property, this is that feel. In summary: if you're ok paying 300 per night AND cleaning a place as soon as you arrive, then, this property may be okay for you and your family. We were offered to move to another unit, but we chose #1 because it had the sunset views.

Beautiful beach condo

Beautiful beach condo! Clean and comfortable! Cozy beds. Spacious for this family of 7 and our furry pup. Location ideal! Amazing sunsets. Beautiful lake view, close to town. Beautifully decorated, newly remodeled. We are already planning a trip next summer. Excellent accommodations! The host of this condo went out of his way for us! We will be returning guest.
