We had a 2nd floor room with a kitchenette & balcony with a beautiful view. The room was clean, well-maintained & nicely appointed. We rented a golf cart directly from the hotel & the pricing was comparative to the local rental businesses & more convenient so that was a plus. And the check-in was easy & staff friendly. We would definitely recommend & stay again. The only downsides were the 3-story property did not have an elevator (but did have a luggage lift that we used) but the booking info. relayed that so it was no surprise to us .... but should be considered for people who need/desire an elevator. The sole reason for only 4 stars was there were no blackout curtains but blinds that did not sufficiently shade the bright, morning sun. We get up at very early on work days so on vacation we like to sleep in & a dark room would have been great. Bring a sleep mask if you want to sleep in later than the sunrise.

Road Trip 2025

Great location across the street from the harbor. Within easy walking distance to many shops and restaurants. They have golf carts and bikes for rent if you want to cover more of the village. Our room was clean and the front desk and room service was excellent. Can’t wait to come back some day!

I’ve been to a lot of beach properties and almost every hotel on Ocracoke and the Harbor Inn is simply the best in every aspect. From the staff, the amenities, the property and the room itself - it’s just perfect

A charming place with incredible views of Ocracoke Harbor. Lovely and simple continental breakfast, a great place to be with your partner. Most of the staff was courteous and hospitable. Thank you for a beautiful birthday!
