Thought this had ocean views but there is construction of a large building in the front and blocked the view. Had paid extra for a balcony but it wasn't really a balcony, just opened up to the 2nd floor common area. Also only valet parking available at 31.00 a night. The hotel did adjust my room because of the view obstruction. Everyone was very nice in the hotel and we did get good service. Was only disappointed in the view and not knowing there would be a charge for parking.

Great hotel a block from the beach. Friendly staff and nice rooms.

The first room given to us was flooded. Shoes and socks got wet. Room didn’t smell that great. I’ve had better stays at this hotel before. A little disappointed the pool view to the beach got blocked by new construction. Overall, the stay here was ok. Staff was friendly !

Pros: Our room was nice, great design! Walking distance to beach and restaurants! Staff were great Nice breakfast selection Cons: We were charged for ocean view - THERE IS NO OCEAN VIEW. A new building is in construction in front of this one blocking it. Nothing says romance like ear plugs - which are free and provided on the nightstand. You will need them to drown out the train, the live band under the hotel, and construction during weekdays There was a black hair on my pillow to greet us when we arrived Shower has rust stains all over and is slippery

We had to pay $62 to park our car at a hotel we paid for

Loved the view of ocean ! Loved the surfer decor loved the pool and deck to see the ocean I would definately stay here again ! Loved the free breakfast , loved how close it is to places to eat and to train transportation !

Great view of the ocean, a little dated but can’t beat the location

The staff and room were fantastic, however we were supposed to check in at 4, but we couldn’t get our room until 6. We had dinner reservations @ 5 and were hoping we would’ve been able to change and get ready before hand. We ended up going to a fancy restaurant in sweatshirts and jeans...Not a great way to spend out anniversary dinner. Checkout was also pretty early and cut our trip a bit short. I feel that if we are paying close to $200, we should get a full day in the room, or at LEAST be able to check into our room when at the times we were given, especially when we one of us was coming all the way from a different state, and we had an hour long commute to Oceanside from Temecula. We were very keen on getting there on time. Slightly disappointed.

Parking was expensive and the train was right behind my room very loud....

unexpected fees. room not clean. refrigerator not working. room is too loud / noisy due to train noise on tracks every 30 mins to 1 hour.

The staff was incredible! They were friendly and accommodating from the time we checked in to us checking out. The hotel was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this SpringHill Marriott to anyone wanting an awesome get away.

Fantastic location! Very expensive for the size of the room, + extra valet fee that was high, did not have a bottle opener at all, (we asked at the front desk and they do not have bottle openers!) We felt nickle and dimed through out our stay at this hotel.

They should of use better insulation because the train wakes you up really early and it will scare the crap out of you if you are in the shower. Also why cant hotels these days charge one price. We check in and we were told that parking was an additional 30 dollars a day. I mean ok you let me book a room there now were am i suppose to park. Why are you so shady and not be up front with the additional fees. Greety bastards

I came to celebrate my beautiful daughter's 21st Birthday. She is a Marine and the hotel was close to her, on the beach and downtown. I had plenty to do within walking distance while she worked. I stayed a week and had a fabulous time. The hotel staff were all very sweet and kind. The only downfall was it was next to the train which was loud, but tolerable and didn't bother me. I would stay again!

Every thing was great in my stay.front desk was very polite.the staff was great..the breakfast is good.n the location is perfect i love it..

we loved the hotel. it was nice and clean it had a great breakfast every morning! we loved the pool on the roof and the view the only negative was the parking was really expensive and our room was next to a train track that ran a train very often.

You can park out on the street, or pay 28 dollars per night for valet. Also, There is an attached bar that has loud singing outside your windows some evenings. Keep in mind if you plan to retire early.
