Cozy Private Beach House - Steps from the beach

Located just a 10-minute walk from beaches, with a 10-person hot tub, and plenty of fun activities like horseshoes and ping pong - this beach house is perfect for your cozy, California stay. Enjoy 1800sqft of four spacious bedrooms, three bathrooms, an outdoor shower, gorgeous living spaces, and plenty of spots to socialize, relax, and unwind. Near Carlsbad Village and Oceanside Pier, you'll have endless options of great restaurants, bars, shopping experiences, and entertainment opportunities.

The Space:
As you approach this beautiful beach cottage, you will see a black gate on the driveway that can be opened from the inside. The grassy, turf front yard is fully hedged to provide privacy, which makes this vacation rental a great option for families with small children. Climb 4 stairs to enter the home, and once inside, it is flat unless you are staying in the loft on the second floor or go into the garage from inside the house making it more accessible to elders or children.

Once inside you will see a living room, complete with a full-sized sectional, and lots of windows – a great place to sit down and take advantage of a new smart TV with cable so that you do not miss a game. The kitchen and living room follow an open floor plan that lends itself to family bonding over a board game or a movie. The kitchen comes complete with all the cookware you need to prepare meals, and 3 barstools so those not cooking can gather around and socialize.

The kitchen overlooks the cozy family room. The large L-shaped sectional couch can seat up to 6 and faces the large flat screen SMART TV. We do have cable on the TV as well. We also have Wifi throughout the home.

Off of the kitchen is a door to the backyard. There is a large rectangular table right outside the kitchen. As you walk out you will appear under the covered patio with another outdoor sectional and table seating up to 8. Around the entire patio are two steps down to the grassy, turf backyard, which is fully fenced in.

In the backyard, there is a 10-person hot tub that is available to guests, If the hot tub needs a deeper clean than usual, there will be an additional fee. On the right side of the patio, you will see a horseshoe pit and ping pong table, providing fun activities for all. On the side of the home, are the trash cans and an outdoor shower that is perfect for rinsing off after coming back from the beach. As you continue around the house you end up in the front yard by the garage. Once you enter the garage all of the beach gear: boogie boards, sand toys, beach chairs, vintage bikes to ride to the beach on, and an umbrella are in the garage.

When entering the house from the garage you'll find the washer and dryer. If you continue up the stairs you arrive in the loft that contains another king-size bed, futon, and a private bathroom – perfect for a small family. From the garage, if you walk up 2 stairs into the kitchen you'll find two cozy bedrooms equipped with queen beds. The Master Suite with a king-sized bed and private bathroom is on the right as you walk in the front door. All linens are provided. The bathroom is located in the hallway next to the kitchen for the two bedrooms with queens and boasts a combo shower/tub (also great for the little ones). Tucked into a closet you will find a Pack and Play (portable baby crib), a high chair, and some indoor toys for children.

Getting Around:
There is parking available in front of the house to anyone that lives in the neighborhood. You will be ticketed and towed if you park in front of the fire hydrant. We do offer a long driveway that can hold up to 2 cars.

Other Things to Note:
The yard spaces are maintained by a friendly gardener, he usually comes the first Monday of every month.

Most importantly, we do enforce Quiet Hours from 9pm to 9am out of respect for the neighborhood. No outside guests are allowed for parties or gatherings at any time. However, we do hope that you enjoy the amenities and respect the neighbors if you plan to have fun after quiet hours. This home allows for up to 10 people max onsite, at all times. This is also a No-Smoking home. If any of these rules are violated, we sadly will have to ask you to leave, and you will forfeit your entire deposit.
