Welcome to Mermaid By The Sea.
This spacious beach home property features a luxurious main house, a private cabana studio and a separate retreat all for your use and enjoyment. The outdoor patio area is equipped with a pool, hot tub, outdoor shower, wet bar, BBQ and an outdoor fire place, perfect for entertaining or to enjoy with your family. Inside you will find a gourmet kitchen with new chef quality appliances and beautiful décor throughout. The house can sleep most any group with two cal king beds, three queen beds and one queen sofa sleeper. The garage area allows parking for up to 2 vehicles, but for guests without a vehicle, you will find that it is an easy walk to many local hot-spots, restaurants and beaches.

Best family vacation ever!

Words cannot do justice to the splendor of this house and the family fun we had here! We stayed for a week and bonded like never before! The kids loved the warm pool and the grassy yard was fun for games. The inside has lots of areas so everyone has a place to gather.The bedrooms are also so ample that everyone had their own private space and we are a big family! The location is fabulous and Laurie the host was just incredible! We can’t wait to return!

Perfect multi family stay

We absolutely loved this house. It was perfect for our needs. We had a wedding near by and needed a nice place to have multiple family members in one place. Having the pool and spa was great. Kitchen was well supplied and gorge. House exceeded expectations!

Great home for large family

From the moment you walk in you know your going to enjoy your stay. The house is not only beautiful, but much larger than the pictures show. There are many areas to relax in, visit with others and just get "away".The pool area equipped with bar was a great hang out for our family of 8 adults and three children. Bedrooms are large and beds are super comfy in all rooms. Laurie is great to work with and it is obvious she takes great pride in assuring each guest is comfortable. Would definately stay here again

They thought of everything!!

Can't say enough good things about this house! It truly has everything you would ever need. Beautiful coastal chic decor, bedrooms and space for multiple families. Our teenagers took over the cabana studio and all slept together up in the loft. We enjoyed every outdoor space available including the gorgeous, heated pool and jacuzzi. The garage had bikes, chairs, rafts, games, anything you could need on a beach vacation. We also enjoyed many of the nearby restaurants in So. Oceanside as well as up by the pier. Laurie was awesome in her communication! ITS A 10!!

This was the perfect house for our family reunion. There was plenty of space and lots to do for our three generations. Incredible house, something for everyone!

A wonderful 4 days with family. Room for everyone, swimming, hot tub, croquet, outside grilling, sonos music through out. Wonderful master bedroom where the sound of the ocean puts you to sleep at night. Close to the beach and Oceanside eateries. Laurie is an incredible host. Accommodating in every way. Beautiful.

This house has everything you need. Fully stocked kitchen and lots of items for fun (bikes, beach equipment and toys for the pool.) The heated pool was a plus. Our family had a great time and felt very comfortable. We hope to visit this property again maybe in the summertime.

As always, communication is spot on with property managers going above and beyond expectations whenever problems arrive! Laurie is always kind, friendly, and efficient! Thanksgiving Break

This has been by far the most smoothest VRBO we have been in. Also this property is perfect in every way. The house was clean and very functional. The kids had an amazing time in the heated pool. Beautiful estate with room floor everyone

I can’t say enough good things about this property and Laurie. We had a group of 12, from 2 to 75 years old. There was enough space for everyone to be together and be apart - which was really important. House had everything you could possibly need. Plan to stay here next year!

The house was beautiful. There were 12 of us and accommodations were perfect. Plenty of linens, kitchen was fully equipped, outside space was amazing for relaxing, playing games and watching sunsets. Mermaid Magic

Our family of 6 adults and 4 young children really enjoyed our get together at the mermaid house. The home is spacious and well maintained and the kitchen is stocked with everything you could ask for. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for everyone. It is in a lovely part of Oceanside with a quick drive to the sandy beach at the pier. We all enjoyed the pool and our 4 year old granddaughter actually learned to swim there. Laurie was great to work with and answered all inquiries promptly. We made lots of memories and are grateful for our time at the mermaid house.

Perfect family vacation!

This beautiful house fits our growing family perfectly. We have younger children, teens & adults and the set up couldn’t be better. It’s stocked with anything you need from spices to sunscreen. We enjoyed sea world, went to the beach every day and enjoyed the incredible pool and hot tub right outside our door. This is our third visit and it won’t be our last!

Everything you could want

Stunning property with everything a large group could need. Grass area for games, pool/spa area with outdoor kitchen, large patio, upstairs deck………..and immaculate interior fully stocked. We never wanted to leave.
