Located just across the California-Oregon border on the Harbor 'bench,' this home is just minutes south of Brookings, which is often referred to as the 'banana belt' of the Oregon Coast. McVay State Recreation Area is a short walk down the street and is set up for disc golf as well as offering access to clamming, beach strolls, and agate, shell, and rock hunting. Charter fishing excursions are available at the Port of Brookings-Harbor, still an active fishing port. Harris Beach State Park offers a long, sandy walking beach, and at Loeb Park, you can swim, tube on the river, picnic, or hike through ancient redwoods.
