Beach view was great. Air conditioning worked and was good for drowning out any external noise. Our door was problematic and difficult to lock upon closing. Room was basic but beds were comfortable.

Gentleman at the front desk was great on check in. Unfortunately the room had an ant problem that we discovered around 11:00PM. We were moved to another room and our keys were updated - but the keys expired a day early and we were locked out of our room late at night. Facilities were pretty dated and worn down. While the location of this property is fair, visitors may want to look at other hotels that have invested more in maintenance.

Does not have coffee machines in each room.. instead has coffee machine and lobby "available 24/7". Was not available when I stayed September 29th-October 2nd. Sign on lobby door says "opens 7:00 a.m." . On the morning of September 30th did not open till 7:35. Two trips down for coffee--nobody there. Then again on October 2nd nobody there at 7:19 a.m.. extremely poor customer service from front desk staff.

this is a beachfront property. But it also has rooms that are not on beachfront. I was in a room that was not on a beachfront, but I could tell that that we were in my room came in from the beach because before was wet and sand was trapped to the front door to the shower. It’s not cleaned up well it was not comfortable. But for a brief overnight stay it works. It’s absolutely not anything of comfort or decency. It is a matter of convenience. And price.

I had no expectations about this motel as I know I booked on the lower end but this was worse that I had imagined. The minute we opened the room door we were overwhelmed by the smell of mildew/mold. When I mentioned it to the front desk their solution was to send the cleaning staff up with a can of air freshener. That is not a solution just a cover up. The bedspreads we stained, the carpets dirty. The wifi does not work on the 3rd floor and the beds in our room desperately need to be replaced.

It’s an old motel, an OC original, and incredibly overpriced for what you get. Clearly it was inflated for the weekends event and I get it - but still I’d say $175 max for an event and maybe $120 any other time. Wasn’t bad and I knew it wouldn’t be impressive but knowing it was this basic I would’ve opted for a better place at another $75 a night.
We got a good laugh out of this.

Our room was never cleaned in the 3 night stay. We asked for new towels because ours didn’t dry after using the first day and despite walking over to the office to ask and asking two different employees, none were provided during the rest of the stay. Stated that they had none clean. When calling the office, no one picked up or returned our message. No one came to clean the room or take out the trash during stay. After being at a music festival in the sand and the rain, not having towels to dry off and clean yourself off was hard.

The location was awesome. Parking was convenient, but tight with a truck. Rooms were clean but in need of an upgrade. No blanket available andbit hot really chilly one night. We dudnt know we would have to vlimb to the 3rd floor...i am disabled andbut was a struggle, especially with luggage. Overall, we'd consider possibly staying there again.

The Good: Parking was convenient and hotel was on the boardwalk The price was right (off season). The not so good: The kitchenette was lacking to say the least. Make sure you bring your cooking essentials (plates, silverware, glasses,pots and pans measuring devices, cutting board,can opener) There were ants in the hotel You get what you pay for.
