This was a lovely, quiet, peaceful place to stay. Our family of 3 (2 adults, 1 child) stayed here for a night during our quick stop in Obidos and we are so glad we chose it. Super clean, lovely front desk person, comfy room. The breakfast the next morning at the castle (an extra charge) was delicious and such a nice treat. Highly recommend!

It is a nice hotel to stay but due to its old history I suggest to use humidifiers and something to kill the smell of moulds in the bedroom

A lovely, clean hotel with super friendly staff and situated in a perfect location to explore beautiful Obidos and the surrounding areas. Our one problem was the bed - Unbelievably hard mattress to sleep on leaving us both with disturbed sleeps and aching backs/hips :-( I would strongly suggest that the owners changed these ASAP - Probably to some sort of memory foam mattress that would cater for different needs.

Staff was wonderful, location was excellent, the free bottle of wine was very much appreciated. They said breakfast was not included, but in fact, there was coffee, tea, and a few pastries. The hotel's recommendation to leave our luggage with the vehicle, outside the city walls, and just bring a backpack with overnight necessities made our visit much simpler.

Great location & Service

Great location inside the castle walls, very easy to walk anywhere. Friendly and professional staff. Only warning is that parking is OUTSIDE the castle walls in a very public and dusty parking lot.
