We arrived early on the train and hoped that there would be a reception area to store our bags, but it wasn’t open until 3 pm check-in time. Bed was comfortable. Old rooms but clean.

Scary stairs, no lift

Third floor, spiral staircase, no elevator. Pre-booking information should give these warnings. We are 72 and 83 years old and had to take those stairs very slowly, holding onto the rail with two hands, to be sure to avoid falling. Breakfast service comes in a paper bag outside the door at 7:30. Rooms are drab. No washcloth provided. The hotel is a block away from the main shopping and dining street, and that possibly justifies the rate, but I cannot recommend this property to weary travelers.
This was taken from the landing at the top of the second level of the staircase. The man is over 6 feet tall.

Very unique property, close to a diverse array of dining options. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are a wee bit on the tiny side, with winding stairs to get to them, but the staff does offer to help with your bags. Most importantly, they were clean.The complimentary sack breakfasts left at our door were perfect. The bar area was neat and staff very friendly there as well. Parking wasn't easy to get to, but worked out fine.

Staff was very friendly and while there is no food on the property, there are many establishments within walking distance. They have a great bar downstairs and we had a great time hanging out and listening to the many local musicians who wandered in and played. One of the highlights of our trip!

The staff was very friendly. But once we checked in, the front desk closed, and then we discovered the Wifi was down (they mentioned they had changed wifi recently) and the heat wouldn't turn on. The bartender helped us with the wifi by going into the office and connecting us to the business Wifi. Turned out the guest wifi was not accessible during our stay. Nothing could be done about the heat. It was cold and uncomfortable both nights. The bed was somewhat uncomfortable as the mattress was worn and saggy and the pillows were ridiculously flat. While I hate to say negative things because the staff was so nice, I would not recommend this hotel. It was overpriced for a small room without even the most basic of amenities like heat and reliable wifi available.

Loved the location and being above the pub. The site clearly tells you there is no elevator, so for anyone to ding them for that needs to take some personal responsibilty for not reading well.

Great location, tiniest of rooms and bathrooms. I think if we actually had a king bed, it would be fine, but since double was the only choice on Hotels.com, I would recommend going directly or choose another hotel.

Clean but there was a smell in the stairwell Breakfast was good, a yogurt, pastry, fruit and muesli bar. Parking was street parking and had to be paid. Bathroom very small

We love this day! The hotel was so cute and very convenient to walk around and explore the city. The parking was great and very easy to navigate. The bar was fantastic and would highly recommend people go there for a drink! Absolutely loved it.
