Large, covered front porch, large back deck overlooking creek and marsh, and ground level covered sitting area with swing and creek view! Enjoy fishing, crabbing, or kayaking directly from the property. Great location just a short walk to the beach! Recent renovations including new flooring, Living room furnishings, 5G WIFI, 3 TV's including 4K resolution 55" Smart TV. Master bedroom with walk-in closet and bath. Beautiful marsh views from both guest bedrooms. Open living, dining and kitchen, Central Heat & Air, Washer/Dryer, fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances, dishwasher, microwave, enclosed outside hot/cold shower, beach chairs, beach cart, surf fishing rods, crab trap, 2 kayaks, boogie and skim boards, charcoal grill, and more. Only .14 miles to beach and less than 1/2 mile to pier and Island Way restaurant. Linen fees for 3 BR's of $76 and $15 for Q sleeper are NOT included but can be arranged. No Smoking. Pet friendly. Check-In: 4:00PM, Check-Out: 10:00AM. Weekly rentals during peak season are Saturday to Saturday. Monthly rates are available November through February.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was within walking distance to the beach. We were able to fish of the pier on the back. The house had everythIng we needed. Would like to have more lighting underneath. Overal it was perfect. We will definitely stay again.

This pet friendly property was great for our family. We loved the location being that it was within walking distance to the pier and beach and a short driving distance to restaurants. We loved the backyard overlooking the marsh. The only suggestion I would offer would be to replace the key lock with a keypad/code entry. This would allow guests to drive directly to the property. We also had a hard time figuring out how to get the key to unlock the door which was probably due to salt air, over time. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

We absolutely loved our stay! The house is comfortable, welcoming, and well stocked. The location was great with amazing views from all of the rooms. We enjoyed fishing and kayaking right off the back of the property. The house was just a short walk to a beautiful section of the beach. Being able to bring our dog was an added bonus.

We absolutely loved the property and only had one issue. The mattress in the bedroom with the queen bed and facing the marsh was very soiled. There was a mattress cover but it was so bad to us that neither one of us could sleep on it. Just need a nee mattress. I would givr everything else 5 stars.

We stayed at Aloha for a few days. We really enjoyed the area and activities at the house. We were able to fish off the dock, go kayaking on the marsh, and go biking in the neighborhood and on the beach. There were a couple of fat tire bikes that my son loved! Also, there were beach toys, boogie boards, fishing poles, several adult bikes, beach games and a beach wagon. The beach is only a couple of blocks away so it made for an easy walk. I would recommend visiting the beach in the evening to see how much the water rises with the tide and the kids loved playing in the pools of water! The house is in decent condition and worked for us. The master shower was a little tight. I wish the linens were included in the rental but you have to pay extra to rent bed sheets and bath towels. The location is within 10 minutes of grocery stores, restaurants, ice cream shops, etc. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

We had a great time in this cozy little house. It had everything we needed and a little more. Although most of the bikes had flat tires there were still two for the kids to ride on. I would also suggest bringing some of your own beach chairs because some of the ones in the building are old and might break if you sit in them like one did with me. But overall it was a great place great neighborhood easy walk to the beach and Great inlet view.

Excellent location. All required amenities were available in the house and the decks were great for watching the sunrise. Was a little surprised there was no paper towels, trash bags, or even an extra roll of TP available so make sure you bring your own. Overall a great place to stay!

Perfect place to stay on Oak Island!

Overlooking the intercoastal waterway, only 2 blocks from the beach! The neighborhood was quiet and dog friendly. Coffee table big enough for our puzzles. Porches to watch sunrises and sunsets. Who could ask for anything more?

House needs upgrades and thorough cleaning

Cooking pans were badly rusted, there are roof leak ceiling spots, one bed badly creaks, windows were dirty (salt build-up), some bug infestation, only one kayak despite advertised two, one window blind missing a slat, air filter had a lot of dust build-up, kitchen sink cold water faucet needs adjustment or water will be wasted, internet didn't work, washer broke but management sent repair man immediately, washer-dryer set is at least 30 years old (according to repair man), and there are enough beds for six people, not eight (as advertised)

My new favorite place

After a little hiccup when we arrived on Sunday, everything was well above expectations. Our Molly enjoyed being able to roam on the gated decks. Our adult children loved the fishing from the dock. We spent plenty of time enjoying the sunrises and sunsets from the decks. Our host was always prompt in answering any questions that I had before our trip and during. We can’t wait to come back!
