Another excellent stay at Mövenpick Hotel, before an early morning flight back to the U.S. My wife and I enjoyed our Thanksgiving on Wednesday, and then flew out early Thursday. The Mövenpick Hotel always delivers.

I chose Mövenpick Nürnberg Airport expecting the quality and warmth this iconic brand is known for, what I experienced was shockingly far from that. The property is dated and badly worn, with stained carpets, tired furniture, and a general lack of upkeep that simply doesn’t align with a 4-star rating. There was no minibar, just an empty mini fridge, no robes, no iron, and no coffee machine in the room. The so-called “deposit” at check-in felt absurd considering the state of the room, I couldn’t damage it more if I tried. I also experienced issues with my bath and had to change rooms, which was inconvenient and avoidable with proper maintenance. For such a prime location across from the airport, this hotel could have been a polished flagship. Instead, it felt like a neglected layover stop. I hope the management sees this not as a rant, but as a wake-up call: the Mövenpick name deserves better than this.

I loved that this hotel is right across the street from the airport. We had to be at the airport by 3 AM so we didn't get to have breakfast. The staff were very courteous and stored our luggage for us so we could walk around town before our room was ready. It's a nice, quiet hotel.

The Movenpick Hotel is a perfect airport hotel. It is located across the street from the Nuremberg airport, and there is a metro stop for easy access to the old town area. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

OK for an overnight before a flight but the room was too warm and the AC made no impact yet was noisy. The room was so dimly lit there was only one lamp and bed lights. I arrived in the dark and couldn't see enough to find other lighting. There was a lamp and a kettle on the desk but nowhere to plug them in. No sockets near the bed for charging phone etc. Room service was excellent and the fridge was appreciated. Pillow was to soft and the quilt was too thick for late summer.
