Best all inclusive I’ve ever stayed at! Truly a 5 star experience from everything to the food to the service. 24 hour concierge is assigned to you upon arrival for any of your needs during your stay. The food was AMAZING, every dish we had was even better than the last. The room was beautiful with an amazing view and you can tell they paid attention to every detail. I will never stay at any other resort during my stays in puerto Vallarta!

The food and service at the restaurants were of a very high quality. The pool service personnel were also very nice, and the activities personnel made the trip so fun for my children. It was a dream vacation!
This is a beautiful property. It was very clean. Every worker had a mask and a face sheild on. There was hardly anyone there due to Covid-19. I felt very safe because everything was so clean. The food was amazing. Great place to go if you want to relax at a beautiful uncrowded property. The rooms were great and everyone was so nice. They give great customer service!
The staff was very friendly and everyone had an attention to detail. The food was very good and many different options. I will be back.

We had 3 oceanfront rooms 201, 202, & 104. We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. From the moment we got to the hotel to the monent we left we were treated extremely well. The hotel staff tended to all our needs and many of them went beyond our expectations. We were assigned a personal concigere Tania who was assigned to us and she made sure all our needs were met again going above and beyond our expectations. We loved Ceferino the bar tender at the pool who made some amazing drinks for not only for the adults but the kids. Julio our server at the pool made sure we had a drink in our hand all the time. Diego was member of the activity staff kept us entertained at the pool. He loved what he did and loved doing it for Grand Velas. There were many other staff members that made the stay great. If you go to this hotel with realistic expectations, you will well have a great time.
This resort had its pros and cons. unfortunately during our stay the construction was overwhelming. The sound of nails, hammers. And drills made it close to impossible to have an relaxing vacation. The rooms were clean, although there is a serious mold issue because it definitely affected my allergies. Not to mention it took almost 3 times on the laundry cycle to get the mold smell off my clothes. The food was amazing, each restaurant really impressed me but the pool staff was rude and unfriendly. The boutique was very nice although i almost fell into the pond because they had taken apart the entire enterace and left several nails, and drills on the floor that i almost tripped on.
Overall experience was great. The spa was fantastic. I had to 50 minute massages as every day we received the $50 spa credit. Plus you’re greeted with a complementary neck and shoulder massage as well as a complementary neck and shoulder massage by the pool. The weather was beautiful and laying out by the pool side and the beach was definitely relaxing and the staff was very helpful coming by offering drinks frequently. The only downfalls I had, were The vegan menu options and some of the conditions of the facility. Starting off with the vegan menu options Cortlynn they were very car of load it. Lots of greens and vegetables and limited amount of proteins such as tofu, tempeh, beans or lentils, and seitan. It’s great that they’re making an option for vegans but I do believe they need to revise the menu because a car loan meal will put you to sleep and can make you bloated. Another thing was the facility was doing some construction at the time so I futile see elevator was out, although I don’t mind taking stairs and there was some weird musky smell in the closet like dew (?). I don’t know that’s just from humidity poor ventilation all the construction around. Otherwise I had a very relaxing time. Alma, massage therapist was fantastic

Spending four days at the Casa Velas Resort in Riviera Nayarit was wonderful! The property is located about 20 minutes by taxi from Puerto Vallarta. It has everything you would want or need, however, including several beautiful infinity pools leading up to the beach, where you can swim or rent kayaks or whatever you please. The suites are spacious, comfortable and sparkling clean. We enjoyed each of the restaurants, offering an enormous, well prepared buffet, and gourmet French, Italian and Mexican restaurants, with delicious contemporary gourmet food and beverage. (All included...) There is a relaxing full service spa and a gym with state of the art equipment. Most importantly, however, in addition to the beautifully landscaped grounds and architecture, well appointed rooms, the service staff is extremely attentive, making for an exceptionally pleasant stay. Highly recommended for all kinds of vacationers, from family, to business and, especially romance!
From our greeting with cool towels, fresh juice, a neck massage and introductions to the concierge staff... to our departure with kind notes from the housekeeping staff to our child, an envelop with our boarding passes printed out and a car waiting to take us to the airport, this resort is all about great service. We loved our stay at Grand Velas and only wish we had more days to stay. Our personal concierge checked on us daily, offered a schedule of activities for the whole family, made reservations and answered questions. The grounds are beautiful and complete with an assortment of terrific restaurants. The pools and beach are staffed with a small army of friendly servers who offer wonderful service. The spa is peaceful and terrific. The kids club was lots of fun... and so were many of our fellow guests. Lots to do, or do nothing and relax, all is accommodated in every way.
1st time we tried an all inclusive resort and was a little Nervous with how average Mexican resorts food can be. It was a great surprise, it was great and a variety. If you ask basically they will try and accommodate any requests you have if they can. Great service and very friendly overall. Spa was great and staff skilled. The pool area was very nice and was well laid out it has shade if you want it and sun if you want it. Overall a great value for such great service. Rooms were always cleaned well and promptly.

We had an excellent four night stay at the Grand Velas with our two kiddos. The staff was all excellent, except that our Concierge greeted us on our first day, then disappeared till our last day. He never looked into or got back to us on the items he said he would on the first day. We still had a great time, but I heard from other guests that their concierge was on the ball. Ours, named Chepe, was not. We'd return, but wouldn't accept him as our concierge next time.
this was our 2nd time at the resort. Food and service was excellent. Room are spacious for a family of four and very clean. They are starting to show wear from age.Activities for the kids (young teen) were not as good as prior year's visit. Planning to make a third trip again next year.
