Terrible place, poor quality and poor comms

Terrible place: access instructions completely wrong so spent 20 mins trying to get in the door. Absolutely stank of stale smoke, bathroom not clean, no hairdryer. All windows large and on ground floor so not safe to leave open to get the horrible smell out, but don't think that would help as the smell was in the soft furniture, so not a recent thing. Messaged through Hotels.com to inform them of no hairdryer and the smell after the first night, but no action taken, just a promise to pass it on to the property manager. I returned after a long day at work and nobody had been in or made any changes and the smell was so strong it made me feel sick, so I left and checked into a nearby hotel. No offer of a refund or apology, just another question asking me to detail the smell. Not good enough, avoid this place!
