We are located opposite Norwich Cathedral which means you are moments away from this beautiful building and its extensive grounds. Elm Hill which has been voted one of the most picturesque and photographed streets in the country is on the doorstep too giving you a restful retreat within this historic city with the main shopping and leisure areas just minutes walk away. For those visiting for business purposes the apartment is perfectly placed to access all major transport routes and with parking onsite everything can be very easily accessed for appointments and travel.
The apartment itself is a generous one bedroom apartment with a very comfortable king size bed . The open-plan living area includes a large comfortable sofa , designated work space and dining for four people . There is a large television and super fast WiFi enabling working from home . The rest of the apartment is well appointed with everything you would expect, the kitchen has a washing machine / dryer , a dishwasher and a microwave aswell as oven . The bathroom has a shower over the bath and all toiletries and linen is provided. Breakfast is also provided and there are options for this to suit everyone! . In terms of parking this is included and is on site and secure and additional spaces could be provided on request.
The apartment is heated and features a kitchen and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Other standard amenities include a washing machine and an ironing board.

Booking cancelled on day

I don't blame the owner of the flat but our visit was cancelled on the day as the group before had trashed the apartment and broken the bed. I do hope that VRBO takes this seriously and penalises the people before us as we had to find somewhere last minute on the road to a funeral. Really not ideal. Marked all scores as middle just to submit this comment.

Not the apartment I booked

We arrived and got a key from the box but it didn't open the door of No. 11 which we had booked. Phoned the owner who replied after 3 tries & didn't believe at first that we were locked out but then told us she was moving us to a different flat, No. 12. She said 11 was unavailable due to a broken blind, however somebody else moved in there that day. We won't be making any more bookings with this host again.

Fantastic Location for City Centre

We had wonderful communication with Emily before our arrival. Her check in details were precise and clear to follow. We had asked about an ironing board and Emily had very kindly left one outside the apartment the next morning. The apartment is situated in a small, gated complex with a dedicated parking stall for the unit. We were really happy with the size of the apartment and the closeness to downtown. It was quiet and peaceful. We were there for 9 days and had some great sunny periods. Unfortunately, there were no patio chairs to use on the small balcony, which would have been nice. The furniture was plentiful but tired and the carpet was dirty and frayed in parts. The bathroom is a good size but with the shower being in a high sided tub, a rubber mat would be very useful. We did have to purchase garbage bags and condiments which we have never had to do in all our previous VRBO’s. Not a big expense but a little inconvenient when you realize there aren’t any. Overall, we did enjoy our stay and Emily is very quick to respond to messages. Thank you for the opportunity to explore and enjoy Norwich and the sights of the east coast.
