Room not ready

When we went to check in for our booking the room was not clean, we had arrived 45 minutes after check in time. The lady at the front desk was obviously frustrated and looked like she had been crying. We left and told her we would return later. She stated she would call to let us know when the room was ready (which never happened). Thankfully when I called at 745pm to check the room was finally clean so we could go to our room. The shower looked dirty and the diverter did not work as it should so there was half the water pressure to shower. It’s sad this is the nicest hotel in town and they don’t seem to have adequate staff.

Unusual overnighter

Asked for a king bed suite but was first given a handicapped room which we didn't take. Moved us to the first floor. Noisy people above us late and early. Think it may have been the cooks for the breakfast. Strange large room with unused space.

Hotels charged me for the room- then the actual hotel charged me.”we are not sure why” that’s all I got and the resolution I guess. Paid double for a room to be in it 6 hours.
