A very personal hotel; the hotel staff knew our names after the first day. The setting was very tropical, the restaurant had great food at a reasonable price, so we did not go out. It is not a resort with huge pools indoors; it’s a comfortable 4 Star. Convenient to enjoy Siem Reap next to the Riverwalk. Reasonable priced massage, car tours, and very good English.

We had a lovely stay at King Rock Boutique Hotel. We were only at Siem Reap for the weekend and the hotel was a great highlight of our trip. Our driver, Mr. Sopha, was waiting for us at the airport at the scheduled time and took us to the hotel in his tuk tuk. Check in was easy, quick and informative. I get nervous at small hotels like this where sometimes the staff can be overbearing, however the staff here was delightful. They were helpful and kind but also gave us our space and let us relax. For a small fee, we easily arranged transport to and around Angkor Wat with the hotel (they even provided us with water bottles and wet towels) as well as anything else we needed. The room was very clean, comfortable and modern. The bathroom was really great too. My only note was that it was odd that the only mirror in the room was inside the bathroom. Would've been great to have had a vanity desk or another mirror in the room itself. Breakfast was basic and decent for the price, and even with a set menu they were still great about giving additional items or customizing our meals. Location is great; near ATMs, Supermarkets, Restaurants and close enough to Pub Street/Night Market without being around all the noise. The pool, albeit small, was great and relaxing. The food and drinks were great! Overall we had a very pleasant stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel.
