Northern Virginia Vacation Packages

Fantastic location. Great breakfast. Very gracious hosts.

When we arrived, the elevator was not working. It would get crowded using one. The soap they had there was questionable. It was mucky greenish blue in color and it irritated our skin. It was the same soap that was in the shower for use as it was a 3 in 1 for shampoo and body wash. I had to go out to get toiletries. There were stains in the curtains and the staff just swept around without a full clean of the room. The restaurant was pretty much the only good thing about the place. The staff there was friendly and the food was good.

Check in was painful. We waited for 30 minutes while the nice desk person waited for someone who knew how yo process our check in. We had booked the stay thru Expedia.

Location is ok and the lobby/ bar/ restaurant facilities were good. Room wasn't great or amenities in room. Bar on rooftop wasn't open ( this should be made clear that it is seasonal). Little atmosphere as the hotel was v quiet. Offered an upgrade but it wasn't made clear it wasn't free. So we paid at checkout but we got given a room overlooking engineering works that started at 5 am! We also frequently heard people in adjoining rooms. Room decor v dull and cold. Bed uncomfortable.
