With the exception of a luke warm welcome from a perhaps tired front desk clerk, the staff at this hotel could not have been more polite. The rooms were clean, well appointed, and spacious. The breakfast downstairs was varied, ample and offered hot and cold selections with lots of hot coffee as well as juice and water. Hotel staff kept the area and tables cleaned off as the breakfast time passed. However, I think communication between employees could have prevented misunderstandings which caused a pang on the overall experience. I would stay at this property again, and enjoyed its proximity to old town Alexandria.

When I arrived at the hotel I was on day 12 of 15 straight days of travelling. I had a long and tiring day and just wanted to crash. The staff could see I was tired. They quickly checked me, making me laugh a couple times in the process, and offering local restaurant delivery menus so I wouldn't have to go out to some food. It was exactly what I needed at that moment in time. I'd stay there again and highly recommend this Residence Inn!

From check in to check out the Residence Inn was great, love the suites as they are spacious, clean, and quiet. We have stayed here before and will continue to return.

The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was helpful with advise how to get around if u didn't have a car. The hotel van service was very helpful. The free breakfast staff were very nice, the breakfast could've used some bacon on the menu but still was ok.. I will use this hotel again.

Arrived for a company conference a day in advanced. Booked this hotel 2 months earlier since it's cheaper than staying at the Westin. My standard room got upgraded to a 2 bedrooms Suite. There was a special event the night that we arrived. You get 2 free drinks at the bar and also a dessert bar with cookies, brownies, etc. Complimentary breakfast was included - food was ok. Staff was polite and professional. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

Just needed a place to stay for one night. Very conveniently located for business travel. Good breakfast, clean and quiet rooms. Great and accommodating staff.

The service staff including Pam and Barry were great to us, making sure we had everything we needed and picking us up in the shuttle multiple times. The hotel was great room very clean. Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I have had. The Metro to Washington nearby makes this a great place to stay with family and visit all the sites. I very much hope to stay there again,.

Very easy to get around and avoid traffic for the areas I needed to go in DC. Definitely fly in and out of Reagan - not Dulles. Staff was happy to help and very pleasant. Nice gym facilities, too.

It worked out well for what we needed. My parents came to visit and the hotel is next to my apartment building.

Ez commute to my two day seminar, Parking wasnt the greatest but that wouldn't stop me from staying again

The hotel was worth every penny!! Loved the Kitchenette, when traveling hard to find a place the kids can agree on, so why not cook local food and save money. Whole Foods within walking distance, so was the movie theater. Many of local shops, but never congested. Very quite and upscale.

A good location in Alexandria (not Old Town) and the stuff you'd expect from Marriott.

Although a short stay, it was a great experience. Friendly staff and a great room.

We loved our beautiful weekend and the hotel was part of what made it great. Shuttle, breakfast, the view, front desk staff...thank you for making it a memorable getaway to Alexandria!

All the amenities you need for even extended stay. Nice location with plenty to do and see in the local town and surrounding area. Friendly staff and good breakfast.

I stayed here while relocating to Alexandria. I enjoyed my stay. A maid did walk in on me right after I got out of the shower but its a good thing I at least had my underwear on. She seemed genuinely embarrassed and sorry- she'll probably knock first always. Offsetting that blunder was the fact that the staff allowed me to check in SUPER early- 10:00. My flight got in at 8:00 and i was so exhausted. That gift of early check in set the tone for a very enjoyable stay. Thinking about staying here? Think No more- book your stay!

The hotel was great, staff very nice & accomadating

At check- in, we were rushed through and charged twice for the room. Once discovered, Guest services(Pam) went the extra mile to rectify the situation.

Excellent hotel, van service was great and a terrific complimentary breakfast. very comfortable.

This was a great hotel in a safe part of Alexandria, VA. The entire hotel was spotless, the suite was very comfortable, and the breakfast was fresh and contained a variety of foods. The hot foods were hot, a nice change from other places. I asked for a late checkout- no problem. The staff all seemed very helpful. This area has many restaurants, is close to two Metros and is accessible to 495 and 95. Would stay gain.
