Great location and relevantly still new.

We stayed in the Petit Palace as a base for exploring Bilbao and the region and very pleased with the choice. The location is fantastic, on the edge of the old town. There is a train/metro station a couple of minutes away and it's a pleasant 25 minute riverside stroll to the Guggenheim. The building is old but the rooms have been well modernised with very good bathroom/shower. The staff are all helpful and friendly, we had the daily breakfast which was a good way to start the day. Our room faced the road but noise wasn't an issue and we even had a small balcony. For a city break base would definitely recommend.

Love the rain standing shower. No tub. Air conditioning was excellent. Tram station is few mins away going to Guggenheim or town centre. Supermarket Lidl was nearby & laundromat was abit of distance but walkable. Only drawback is housekeeping doesn’t replenish the toilet roll daily .. other than that was great ! Note other guests love to slam their doors making it hard to sleep in .. otherwise almost perfect ! Thanks

Nice, convenient location. Room was spacious and clean on arrival, and kept clean through my stay by the wonderful cleaning team.

We have upgraded to the Level each time we have stayed at the Melia. While the facility was very nice the amenities were lacking. Very little food options other than salty snacks. All of the other Melia’s Level have offered much more from a food perspective. While the room upgrade was very nice the overall experience was lacking due to the Level amenities.
