We used the Adina Place apartments as our base for visiting Launceston and surrounding places over a four day period. It proved to be very suitable as a base. The room was clean and well appointed with all the required facilities but was space was a little limited around the bed. We particularly appreciated the helpfulness of the friendly staff - especially with advice on places to visit and to eat. We were on the second floor and needed to use the lift which was small but adequate. The only down side from our point of view was that the shower was over the spar bath and so for older people, one with a disability, this created some difficulty.
We stayed on the ground floor in a spa suite. It was clean and cosy. Not a large room but was fine for the price as it was a base for day trips. The bath room was looking a little tied but cleanliness made up for this. It certainly presented value for money. The staff were lovely, it was nice to arrive to the heater & a light on on our room after arriving late in the evening.
Wanted to visit Launceston in the peak tourist time so happened on this location. We were very pleasantly surprised on the welcoming smiles and courtesy of the front of house staff. Room was very pleasant and we had a comfortable. So good that we returned a fortnight later and it is now our first port of call when going to 'Launie' as the locals call it.
We stayed here recently for a couple of nights in a spa room on the third floor. Good points: - Cleanliness of room - Comfy bed with good pillows - Lovely views over Launceston - Easy stroll to CBD Other points: - Shower in the spa rather awkward to get in and out of - Noisy split system air conditioner (a column heater for the cold nights would be better). So noisy we had to turn it off to sleep - A lot of traffic and road noise (that could be improved with sealing around the entry door) - Noisy bathroom fan came on with light switch (would be better wired separately) Access to the bathroom was via thin triple robe doors. With the exhaust fan open to the the road, a fair bit of road noise also came in to the room this way. A lower floor may be quieter, but the views were pleasant. Would we stay again? Probably, just in a different room type and on a lower level. Management were very assisting and supportive of a WIFI issue which prevented the sending of important personal information, and helped solve the situation.
Stayed over the long weekend. The Adina Place offers a clean , basic accomodate in the heart of Launceston and located near the mall. Car parking is free but can be tricky if you arrive late as it's a tight layout making it difficult to manoeuvre a large vehicle. For lunch or dinner recommend visiting the Metz Cafe and Bar which is located in the same street and is a five minute walk from the Adina Place City View Apartments.
Quick and easy check in from 8am to 8pm. Clean apartments that are close to the city area, no traffic noise and good views from your balcony. We had the 2 bedroom apartment that had a kitchenette with hot plates so we could cook our own meals. Have stayed here before and will stay again.
We stayed for 5 nights. The room was 2br and was nice. The beds were great. The TV room slightly small but the view magnificent. Loved the balcony. The only complaint was the poor shower water pressure. Free parking. The staff were great. There were many restaurants and a pub nearby. The laundry room was very functional and impressive.
This is the fifth time I've stayed at Adina Place City View Apartments which rather speaks for itself. There is so much to like about staying here, Marty and Kelly really look after you, the rooms have 180o views over the city, the beds are scrupulously clean, fully equipped kitchen, free parking. I plan to stay again next year!
Stayed here for four nights recently. Booked the spa suite. Reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful for the duration of our stay. The room was ok. The view of Launceston was beautiful and it was great to be able to sit on the balcony. Location of the hotel itself is convenient and it was great to be able to walk anywhere we wanted to go. The size of the spa was great, although we didn't have time to use it so cannot vouch for how well it worked. The bathroom and rest of the room were very clean though. Some negatives - our room was very noisy. This would never usually bother me but it did on this visit - it felt like we were woken up by a lot of noise each morning. I think it would be an issue for light sleepers/those who struggle with noise. The only other thing that was frustrating was no "do not disturb" sign. Overall would stay again - the room was good enough for us, free parking is convenient and location is awesome! But I'd think twice if noise bothers you.
A comfortable room with efficient reverse cycle aircon. We had a pleasant stay and reception and house staff were very friendly and helpful. Good location although there is a bit of an uphill walk from downtown Launceston. On the downside we found the bed a little firm and the jacuzzi in the room did not aerate the bubble bath. Nevertheless not a bad place to stay.
